Well again dealers are selling Porsche 968 U.K. sports as Clubsport at greatly inflated prices
Yes they have a CS chassis but they were modified by AFN the importer to have the Lux Pack, soft seats, electric windows ...
And registered in the U.K. as 968 sports, the certificate will say Clubsport but with lux pack
Don’t get ripped off thinking it’s a genuine CS, there were only 157 sold in the U.K.

They need my official LUX pack modification which comprises affixing a cut down HILUX badge to the rear!
Anything which is a MY94 car eg the later CUP2 alloys needs to be treated with suspicion when buying. There are definitely genuine cars out there but the majority of 94 cars with comfort seats are a Sport and will have rear seats or signs of rear seats being removed.
The MY93 cars (CUP1) had the option of comfort seats but rear seats were not available as an option and so will have the manual boot release behind the passenger seat and a blanked off boot lock as Mr Waylander says.
If you get a dealer to run a build sheet for you, a sport will have the P35 lux pack listed. Certificate of Genuine blar blar or not. It is a Sport

Anyway, that one is a CS, but its one that many would be suspicious of for obvious reasons.

That one is definitely a CS albeit not everyones cup of tea when it comes to spec - it has windy windows and hasnt got a sunroof so thus ironically hasnt got the lux pack despite being claimed otherwise! The 968 Sport is a UK only designation, so the originally NZ car with the lux pack can correctly be described as a 968CS (non C16 car!) with the lux pack. What pushes the envelope of proper description is those C16 (UK specification) cars ordered by Porsche UK from the CS production run but with the rear badge delete option as well as the lux pack option, and sold (in UK only) as 968 Sport. Those of us that know 968's know that even ordering a 968CS, there were optional extras that went as far as sunroof and aircon, never mind comfort seats, rear seats, electric windows/tailgate release and radio.
In the early 1990's sales of the 968 coupe were slow - the list price started at IIRC £32000 + taxes etc, before adding things from the option list. The OTR price of my 1994 tip coupe, with no cost options other than the tip gearbox, was just over £42000. Porsche therefore came up with the CS as a reduced cost option - the list price started at about £26500 plus tax etc before options. This stripped out version with Recaros was a bit too hardcore for the UK market so Porsche UK came up with the idea of ordering a number of CS's with the lux pack (as they're still known in Europe) but de-badged, Porsche GB added a Sport badge to the rear and sold them as 968 Sports.
So - these days the CS is the desired version and prices for "proper" CS's reflect this, however those less knowledgeable confuse a proper C16 CS with a C16 Sport - especially as there is a considerable difference in perceived value between the 2!

The only LUX pack that exists is the P35 and that includes a sunroof and electric windows/mirrors so the NZ car isnt a LUX pack. Its a standard CS with aircon, front comfort seats and the rear seat optionA sport has the "P35 F 968 CS Luxury Package - P03,P33, 346,381,382,451,498,650,685"

A CS with original hard back buckets is the most expensive version
To be absolutely honest having driven loads of these coupe sport CS, it’s almost impossible to tell which one your driving
But nothing stopping you fitting buckets to a sport?
The last set of genuine hard back seats that came up for sale went for £3000!
