Blanked off key hole - is that the tell tale sign?

The blanked off key hole is a CS giveaway.
The proper rear seat delete shelf also, as this was an expensive retro fit item and most “sport conversions” did without this.

Morning all

I have owned a 968 CS (A968 POR) black with red sidewinders and a few years before that, a black Sport that we rollcaged and used for trackdays

despite that, I'm quite confused myself!

is this a genuine "proper" CS

seems like it is, M030 etc

Sold on CC in June 21 for £38K plus commission. Very interesting MOT history under K168 YOV.

Well spotted !

That one has done the rounds ... Adrian Crawford of Williams Crawford, then Silverstone Auctions, etc.

It is unusual being a "no sunroof" car in a great trackday spec from new, but as you say, the MOT history tells more.

thanks for this. I love PH for its excellent knowledge

so we are saying it was probably a racecar that has since been jazzed up and returned to standard spec.

If anyone wants to create a cheap CS, I've just dropped my Sport into the classifieds.

Just sayin'. . .

just had to replace my Alternator Harness, it was falling apart from old age, the whole thing had bio-degraded

the big issue is the big wire is connected to the battery and the red/blue is the starter, they breakdown and touch and if in gear, your car is off down the drive without you,

they are NLA from porsche so I had to make one...

affects all 968's, the harness was made by Leoni in the UK, and fitted to all cars, cab's coupe's sports and CS,

Please check yours if its crunchy is finished

Check out the boot floor pan and bulkhead for signs of damage and do some due diligence googling any previous owners’ racing careers…
