If I remember this story correctly, it was severe aquaplaning on a dead straight dual carriageway during heavy rain. The Lotus did exactly the same thing 5 minutes after the 968 and neither car hit eachother redface

I think Fat Albert posted it the other way around. And said he clattered the stricken Lotus. There was mention a big puddle, but there was also suggestion that summer tyres near their wear/sell by date may have been a contributory factor.

Buyers beware, there are some rear crooks trying to open your wallets for a good robbing

Interested to know what draws you to that conclusion.

"MOT test was conducted" and so it continues, what a lot of BS.

Take a look at the images of the car in the magazine article that’s included in the gallery.
Car has no rear wiper and is on silver cup1’s - you can also just about make out that it has the blanking plug in the rear pu.

Now look at the images of the car in its “current correct state”
- cup2 wheels - in 911 size 7” fronts not the correct 7.5”
- rear wiper switch in the centre console
- key hole in the rear PU.
- the car doesn’t match the option sticker

And why does a 80k mile 968 need a full glass out paint job?

Many thanks having owned mine since 2005 I'm still amazed at how little I know and the knowledge of others.
