I have a 993 C4 Cab' year 1996. I see from the DVLA website that cars of this vintage won't be able to run on E10 fuel, which is due to happen in September.

Hopefully, Shell V Power or similar will continue to be available.

Any thoughts on this subject will be welcome.

Super unleaded will not be affected by the switch to E10, it will remain E5.
If your car is okay on current petrol then switch to super unleaded (of any brand) if you haven’t already.

I had heard that one of the brands of super unleaded has zero ethanol in it, can’t remember which one as I am not too bothered since E5 has been fine for all my cars so will just use the super unleaded from my local station.

The super unleaded with zero ethanol is Esso Ultimate.

It’s on their website, but I think it depends on the region you live in.

My local esso sells it, and if I can’t get that I use Tesco 99.

My local Tesco has, on one pump, three different fuels. 95 e10, 95 e5 &98 e5
Not sure how long they will be selling the 95 e5. Anyone else seen this?

Not seen that at my local Tesco, will check, but had an email
From shell today to confirm that as of 1st sept no more E5/95 unleaded, advising if you need E5, use V power..

On one of the other forums I frequent, one member is a tanker driver. He has said that the refineries are having to produce super unleaded as a fuel in its own right, whereas now it is simply normal E5 with an additive package.

for my Z3 s65 with the e92 M3 V8, I always go for the Shell V-power Ron98 in NL on their website it does not say if their is 5% bio in it.
but 5% would not so be a problem, more can be for a lot of cars, specially older cars.
