MDL111]I just do not really like how the SF90 looks [but that is obviously a personal thing and they do have a lot of presence when you see them on the road said:
, while I think the 296 is just beautiful. I don't know, they are all fast and nowadays and really expensive. I think for driving pleasure I'd just buy another Scuderia, should have never sold that car.
I keep coming back to the 675 every time I think about a new car. I have never driven one, but would love to try one and spend some time getting to know it.
I had a Scud few a year or so and was never that blown away the Strad on the other hand sounded great and felt light!

Good morning, looking for some advice please. I really fancy an SF90 Stradale despite all the misgivings I've driven both the normal and the AF versions and found them both to be fantastic. Clearly most advice is to get a 'regular' one because it has lift etc but this car will never be driven in London and the AF just isn't that low...I am drawn to owning the AF. Longer term the pack is surely more than just a 'gimmick' and speaks to technology that costs multiple times as much on the Ford GT say plus Ferrari being a racing company firstly I think the AF being that little more hardcore perhaps has the edge.

The car will never (or v rarely be tracked) but will go on road trips abroad. Can those with real world experience of both please give me an honest answer as to their thoughts? Driving both on UK B roads just doesn't throw up enough of a difference at 'normal' speeds. All answers, particularly from those with ownership experience greatly appreciated because I'm about to press the button. or please put me in the right direction of another forum.

Thank you so much, Matt.

PS prefer not to go red, purely personal choice.

Look at some of the discussions on Ferrarichat - especially posts by UK based Lukeylikey who loves his and does euro tours:

"We’re doing a road trip again this October. For the third time in three years it’s the SF90 that I’ll pick up the keys to. And we’ve even worked out how to get a week’s worth of luggage into an SF90 Spider!"

As above, SF90 on Ferrarichat will give you the detail and ownership stories, not pistonheads. Prefer non red too and no stripes. With Assetto Fiorano think they look HyperCar and prices worth considering against Revuelto, if hybrid your wish. I had an AF Coupe, my posts are above, loved it and never had any problems, but I’m more into the back catalogue now. Post if you get one.

I have gone for an AF. At even reasonable speeds the dampers give you a difference significant enough that it's worth going for, not that the 'normal one' isn't brilliant. Any other words of advice before I push the button hugely appreciated.

3 pieces of advice, 1) get off Pistonheads on SF90, too many haters who don’t know the car at all, Sign up to Ferrarichat immediately, less about depreciation and more about real ownership, good & bad.
2) Sign up to The Intercooler and read the Steve Sutcliffe Retrospective Article on SF90 with AF, not the original hating journal articles. Ben Collins ex Stig did a retrospective video as well.
3) get yourself down to Carrs Exeter and look at the Grigio Titanio AF, was owned by a mate of mine, did all his track driving with Ferrari Clienti AF’s, not his own car, never seen a track, knows his onions and that car is a mint 1 owner. Getting XX now. Only thing that went wrong was a E sensor door latch on passenger side. He said in AF form one of the best Ferrari’s ever made just totally misunderstood. Enjoy the process.

No matter how quick it is, seems like it's turning out to be unloved by most and the values reflect that. Like a ginger step child.

So few were buying them new that it's now gone off sale. The 296 offers 98% of the 90 at a more attractive price.

Nearly 8,000 made in a normal ( for Ferrari) five year production cycle, so not that few buying them new. Although the order book was closed some while back, Spider production has not yet ended.

Many thanks, bang on where I thought it would go, very low spec car compared to others on the market that are still not selling after multiple reductions.
Quite bemused to see this car at auction considering the owners wealth.

I'm not in the market for one so don't have a personal stake in this but here is a positive review.

https://ssoreport.com/ferrari-sf90-review-5-days-a...

A positive comment I've seen repeated here and elsewhere is that if you consider it a kind of junior hypercar it is a bargain.

I'll keep my 296 GTS though.
