I know all about market forces. I studied the subject in depth after the last time classic car prices bubbled in this way; 1990. I could also explain CAPM, Arbitrage Pricing Theory and why these are relevant to those that choose to include cars in their portfolio and what effect the rebalancing of a portfolio could have on certain asset classes. But it sounds like you already have a good handle on such influencers. Or maybe you are simply long on Dinos? smile
certainly not long on Dino's but i fail to see the issue if someone is prepared to pay X for something ?

My experience of markets is that bubbles never pop when people first start talking about them, and it is only in the last few months that this has been the case.I would also add that bubbles generally form when credit for purchases is readily available. To my mind, we do not have freely available credit and we are not far enough in to the cycle for it to burst. Think again in 1 or 2 years.
