Genuine question - why would you ever sell an F40?
Discussion
I've only had my F40 a few weeks but it's been shopping, driven to the office and on Friday it's going to be used to take my good friend to his wedding.
I think it's a tragedy to have a car like that and not to enjoy it regularly. That said, it does require thought and planning - where are you going to park it, where are there unavoidable speed humps, etc.

31 years young and already in a F40? Genuinely hats off to you, you must be doing something right.I think it's a tragedy to have a car like that and not to enjoy it regularly. I used to walk past a garage in Hamilton everyday after school and there was a F40 for sale there for 140k. I promised myself I would own one before I was 30. Well im 37 now and only made it as far as a Lambo SL, which at the time cost just shy of 140k.. no chance of owning an F40 now!

Top of my head without reading all replies
- because Idon't like it as much as you thought
- been there done that and I want another car and can't/don't want to afford running both
- because at 300k I could justify it, but at a million I can pay off a good chuck of my mortgage (tax free too)
- because my income situation changed and I need money
- because it was a stretch when I bought it, but it was a lifetime goal I wanted to fulfill and now it's back to reality
I suspect there are few people with huge high-value car collections who sell
