Just to add there was a video done on my BB before I got it (the enormous steering extension has been removed) in case anyone is interested.

The good photos of the Countach were taken by James Mann for a magazine article, credit to him (he takes great photos).

Lovely pictures and what a fabulous trio you have there.

Is your Countach the same colour as the LP400 shown earlier? Not sure what to call it, kind of violet I guess?

Thanks and yes they are the same colour , Acapulco Blue. It is metallic and seems to change in the light, sometimes appears very dark and sometimes sort of blue violet.

You must be whip thin to be able to get in and out whilst it is in the garage!

This is my favourite shape Countach and a bit of a unicorn in terms of most photographs you see; front spoiler and wheel arch extensions but no silly rear wing - it is glorious to see one in the spec I would choose.

Thanks. I think it is the only RHD QV in that colour
It is an old garage picture, in not especially wide but nor am I a supermodel physique so I rejigged as in a more recent photo.

This qualifies as an engine in my view
Definitely!

The BB "flat 12" was derived from the highly successful F1 engine which took Niki Lauda to multiple victories.

Car magazine called it the Worlds best engine.

Now imagine if anyone replaced it with electric... eek

Lovely write up and photos, thank you for taking the time.

Your Countach looks very familiar from my trips to Portman in the 80's. Sadly Mike is no longer around to provide more info.

It's amazing that the older interiors are now looking so good, especially when compared with the modern equivalents

Great write up, the 512BB was my poster car as a teenager (far too many years ago), great garage.
