Do you know if it was definitely door damage, or just going off the advert?

Seems strange someone would have a Cat D in a collection and also not service it (IMO).

I've Just quoted from the advert, I don't know the car. Perhaps one of the longer term SL1 owners knows something about it.

The advert is still there but as you've found, the copied and pasted link doesn't link!

That exhaust and the sub behind the seats looks very much like the grey SL that was previously at Motorhub for much less than the new asking price...

Hi All,
Bit of a long shot possibly, but my partner's son has his eye on the car mentioned here previously - Registration LJ57 FPP

I have some concerns on its history and how it finds itself today. So I am trying to discover as much as I can and if anyone here can help please, either with personal knowledge of the car and/or the previous owners.

As you know it was involved in an accident and registered as a CAT D. It then came back onto the market in Sept 2021 with a bodywork wrap in blue.

Cheers,
Dave.

The above is the same SL from the infamous Motorhub in Keighley.. ex hire car, will have spent most of it's life being bounced off the limiter at certain weddings or as a drug mule. Shame as it had most options checked, but on its 3rd engine.

yep, they've taken the subwoofer out though by the looks of it

most of the high end cars they have never sell and are used for rentals
