I am really confused.

If you DO intend to run a permenant front plate on your Lamvo tehn whats the problem with using the normal 3M double sided padded strips?

They aren't causing any damage and they do come off if you ever need to (as you have proven by removing the old stuff.

I don't see what you are asking.

When I switched to the LP560 front nose on my Gallardo the number plate fell off, and I did not get around to putting it back on.... Was fine for nearly a year and never bothered by the police.

He wants to be able to take the plates off regularly when he's showing it.

so asking questions is not the done thing here....? what exactly then are these forums for, thanks for your insight.

as much as i know, i do not know everything about everything, the humility to ask is a positive virtue i think....

and saves a heck of a lot of wasted time googling....

thanks, though one advantage of the lp fender is a lack of a natural fixing point so it is easy to plead attachment instability when pulled over..good excuse to upgrade.. smile

Yes its a an remote controled number plate that flips down out of site under the car at the push of a button. Then pops back up when needed. A few people make them. You can check one out at this site:

Buy some strong magnets on the fleabay, use adhesive to bond a metal strip to the back of your plate, put some sort of protective layer on the metal strip so it doesn't damage the car,put the magnets behind where the plate goes and hold the plate on thusly.

This is my Heath Robinson proposal biggrin

I started legal proceedings and the wrapping company's solicitors settled with me before it went to court. (The sum of money I got was not nearly enough to put right the damage that they had caused) I only settled because I was so fed up with the whole situation.

I fell out of love with the car, and was so fed up I sold it.

I hope the wrapping company gets paid back in Kama, bloody cowboys.

It was sad to let her go, but I have no regrets. I bought an M3 Convertible, a lot less stressful! I may get another Lambo again in the future, but am happy with the beemer for the time being.
