There is a thread on this, but its old now, (how many Mk 1 Superleggeras left in the UK RHD)

Had look on how many left and its says 11, plus two Superleggera A (dont know what the A is?)

Surely there must be more than 11 Mk1 Superleggeras left in the uk ?

regards
Scott.

When I researched this back in 2011 there were only 10 UK rhd cars left in the UK

Some more may have come back from the east, and I know a few LHD cars have been bought back

Wonder if it's the one I almost bought of Ben? Have you had it long?

I know of Ben’s old car and the current owner, it’s not Tony though. It’s a small circle of gen1 SL owners.

Hmm, never posted a picture before, didn’t go well!

As you can see it’s a series 1 with an LP front end and stripes. I’ll pit it back to original at some point. But first I’m starting to research a manual conversion... whistle

I’ve owned it for three years now.

They are wonderful wonderful cars and truly under appreciated and people are missing out. Owned mine for 4 years now. I love it, such a brilliant wonderful driving car.

One day people will think, why did I miss this car and want one.

Hi Scott, it already had the LP bumper when I bought the car. I’d always assumed it was a Lambo part but never checked.

I think that the numbers for Superleggera on HML.com relate to SL2s...looking at the graph nothing appears until 2010., which would coincide with when they started arriving.

No idea what a SL A is either.

The numbers for these are very low in the UK now, this number seems reasonable to me.

I've had mine over 4 years now and it's truly a great car and underappreciated as said already. I've got a MK2 Perf also and whilst that is a special car also, the Mk1 SL takes some beating for the overall experience/sound etc. I love it. This is a UK car with harnesses and small roll bar, quite rare spec and I think just a very small number of this spec around now.
