The Amari one is my old car. I spent a lot of time finding the car when I bought it 4.5yrs ago. It’s lovely and whatever it needed got spent on it. Comes with all the tools, books, wallet, two sets of keys.
The orange LHD SL1 at Amari is under offer.
The grey RHD SL1 at VVS a couple of months ago sold fairly quickly too. It seems like that decent SL1s at realistic prices are finding new owners.

Thanks...they’re not far from me either. I’ve been away this week but back Monday and will give them a call direct.

For those waiting for an SL1:

The previously Eric Clapton owned Grey SL1 is up for sale on the opposition's website, so I'm assuming I can't provide a link.
'Believed to be the last right hand drive car off the production line'. 'Vehicle registered 07/04/2009'. 22,000 miles. FSH.

Interesting, what's 'the opposition'? Don't think there is any issue with linking to cars for sale on here?

I was assuming that it might be contrary to rules of posting (which I haven't checked) to provide a link to a competitor's for sale website. That's seems not to be the case as the link now provided hasn't been removed.

It wasn't meant to suggest that there was anything against the car.

I dont think its worth £125k in todays market, Covid, recession etc, will all devalue cars,

£100k is probably a reasonable price for it, but dont see many supercars selling presently unless they are seen as a bargain,

I can see lots of cars of all marques on PCP being handed back without owners taking on a new purchase presently which will increase supply over demand, (will be interesting to watch the market over the next year)

the one thing the SL does have is rarity, which ultimately will help keep some value.
the other thing is you are financially secure then cost of borrowing is low and likely to be even more competitive due to competition

nice car though,

scott.

There are just two white Uk cars So white will be difficult to get. There were three. One burned out. Two black currently for sale. Both since around July this year. One yellow and one grey. Grey one has a dodgy history and the other grey one that VVS has for sale is sold and you can see the blog on you tube under petrolicious.
Scott - Were you referring to this burnt out white one (actually a LHD car) from 2014 which has surfaced on ebay 6 years later: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/293607036407 ?

I wonder why insurance never paid out? Interesting.

“No silly offers or may just break the car”....not much to break is there? I would say that has a value of £0 and way to gone to “restore”.

that is the one, I had believed it was a RHD one, I liked the comment on ebay, does not start ! lol, no kidding,

shame, and insurance could be a pain i guess if you havent told them every little fact when it comes to a large claim,

Scott.

I wondered what happened to that. Still three white RHD cars (think only eleven worldwide - guess ten now, maybe nine as one crashed in Japan). I’ve got one, the other two are also owned by PH’ers.

Hey stephen ,

I have one of the other white ones, based lasgow, bought it in london last August, i had always thought there was just two left, so still one elusive white SL owner to find :-)

Scott.
