This car has been for sale for over a year it’s price has kept changing from 84k to 89k then 92k then back to 89k and now a jump to 129k ??

What’s that all about? Surely if it wasn’t selling at 84 or 89 no one is going to buy it at 129k

Maybe they’re going to offer 30k off as part of a Covid19 blockbuster sale?

Either that or making their business look more viable by overvaluing stock?

Well they’ve currently added 40k in the last 48hrs

As I said it never sold before if anything I’d have expected it to go down!

You see other similar at 60-70k

I think they know it's not going to sell for that and just being cheeky to get a reaction which they have.

Dealer friend of mine from the US said sales for G's has jumped since the pandemic and they're actively looking for clean cars. He told me people who were considering a used Huracan are jumping into G's temporally because of the economic downturn. Prior to the pandemic he said his dealer wouldn't touch G's unless it was a Perf or SL.

I wonder if something similar will play out in the UK.

They love their lambos in America though I saw loads in Florida,

The fact this car never sold in this country when it was mid 80s says a lot in my opinion

£130k for a bog standard Gen 1 Gallardo is having an enormous giraffe. 85k is pretty high, IMO. You are in SL1 territory at 80-90k.

Yep and there’s lots of other nicer cars at that price point

They must be trying to make up for the Bentley that's just had £10K knocked off it.....

Yes there are Gallardos priced 80-90k but where are you seeing SL1s in that territory? I can only see 2 x SL1s at just under £100k on Pistonheads unless you are including LHD or a Cat D car.

And it’s back up for sale again, but with different pictures this time

And in the last hour dropped it to 97k

Seems to be abit all over the place regarding pricing

Firstly, click-clack mated to a naturally aspirated 5.0L V10 - what is not to like?

As for the "bog standard" comment, this car has the classic clean lines of the coupe with the correct Callisto wheels: no soft top, no pre-historic e-gear system, no stripes, no spoilers. The original poster on-the-wall for many - admittedly this would have probably been Aranchio (orange).

The CATS came out clean, and swapped with Larini Sports CATS, and now the engine will be pretty much bullet-proof.. no ceramic bits in this engine. The car is serviced with one of the best oils on the market, Millers NT+ 10W50. Good luck buying your £60-£70k e-gear with 40k miles on the clock, with original CATS and serviced with a Mobil 1 5W30 all its life.

There are a few more 6-speed manual coupes pre-2006, which if you want to travel in 1st gear all day long, again good luck with that. As for the post-2006 manual coupes, you could probably count the number on one hand in the UK.

Price may be high for some, but it will get there, and in the mean time I will be enjoying it.
