The Perf spyder is pretty rare, it was produced for only one year and by the time they came to releasing the spyder the hype surrounding the Performante was gone so orders declined.

Spyder (and Coupe) production stopped because the production line needed to be retooled for the Evo, not due to declining orders. I was given a hard deadline for placing my Spyder order by the dealer, after which the factory stopped accepting further orders.

It appeared at an obscure independant dealer photographed at the top of a car park, priced unrealisticaly at 229k, reduced to 225k around christmas time, is all I can recall. Then disapeared. Can't be of more help am afraid.

Metallic blue is my favourite colour but there are so many shades and it can be difficult to get the right one for the precise car. Some look good on one car but no so good on another, or at least to my eye.
I've had lots of cars in blue but none of them have been a supercar. For some reason blue is not the most popular car on a lambo just like red but I like both just for a change as much as anything.

Anyway as per another thread there is no right or wrong with colour its a totally personal thing.
If you are wanting to consider resale people will go with safer colours

I had a MY19 coupe and I remember my dealer telling me a lot of unsold allocations from the US were dumped in Europe. There was also a post on here or maybe the Lambo forum from a while back about people claiming dealers were offering them discounts on new orders.

The blue one linked to above that has a matt wrap on - it is Not a Vathys car.
That car has been at Chelmsford for at least 9 months, was 240k for ages, then 220k, now 205k.
Seen it multiple times in the flesh and the matt finish does nothing for me.

Must admit I'm not mad on matt paint and I'm sure its another fad that will go out of fashion.

I get a matt black stealth batman car on something like a F12 or Aventador but still wouldn't be my choice.

My OCD nature would kick in and I would be forever polishing it to get a gkoss shineeek

Good effort OP, that's a lot of stalking!

My only take from this is the amount of VM/OB on the Spyder (but then we all know these are the best colours wink) - coupes all seem to be black/white!

Anyone have a guesstimate for the number of Perf Spyders in black split by gloss (Nero Noctis / Nero Helene) and matt (Nero Nemesis / Nero Pulso) WITH bronze Narvis wheels AND laser engraved interior? Is this spec combination a potential unicorn even if marmite?

Good Morning

Thanks for the E-mail.

Yes I can confirm 550 units, I was told this verbally by Lamborghini's regional sales manager.

550 units worldwide, our first was July and had our last on in may so a short production run.

More limited than the limited ones!!

All the best.

Regards

Lamborghini Sales Manager

Subject: Lamborghini Performante spyder

WARNING: This email is from an EXTERNAL source. Please exercise caution when replying, opening attachments or clicking links.

Hi Paul,
I was given your details by a member of Lamborghini Uk club. I purchased a Performante spyder new in March. I ve been collecting every piece of paper work and details about the car. I was even fortunate enough to see my car at the factory on production line. I purchased it from Simon @ Sevenoaks Lamborghini. Question is I ve have tried to find out how many units were made as I know it s very few. I have contacted Lamborghini and my dealer and neither can say. I was told that you told a client that there are only 550 spyder units world wide. Please could you confirm this.
