Hi in 2018 I got hit by an uninsured woman driver and my car was given cat D status

If anyone knows who has this car I have all the service books stamps, receipts, spare keys etc

Can't help I'm afraid but out of interest what happens if you get hit by an uninsured driver ? apart from the obvious.

There is a pot of money That sits with the pool of insurances just in case something like this happens, thankfully They use this pot to pay for these types of accidents!
By the way the woman got 3 points and £300 fine!! Ridiculous

Yep, the fund is held by the MIB - Motor Insurer's Bureau.

Wiki says: Its role was and is to enter into agreements with the Government as to how compensation claims from people who have been involved in accidents which were caused by uninsured or untraced drivers may be compensated. Section 95 of the Road Traffic Act 1988 requires every insurer dealing with compulsory motor insurance to belong to the MIB and to contribute to its funding.

According to the MIB's website's FAQ section, the cost of funding the MIB is ultimately borne by law-abiding motorists who pay their insurance premiums (£30 pa each)
