Looks amazing. See you've parked it next to the Testarossa - Harry Metcalfe started something!

Yes it slept last night next to the testarossa!

Just been for a 35 mile drive and absolutely love it. Except for the stiff and long pedals to the left and right it wasn't the monster I thought it might be to drive. I was very popular at the petrol station! Very pleased indeed.

It arrived but haven't driven yet. It sounds gorgeous.

Congratulations Jonny! Those two photos alone deserve 'PH Post of the Month' beer

I dare say I'm not the only one on here who's looking at the cars in the background in the pics you posted of it before it left Iain's workshop..... wink

I always disconnect my battery when I park up and see finding the catch as a great security feature.

Car looks great !

If the front bonnet does not shut properly after you have opened it , make shore you push the lever back to it's original position.
In 1988 I had a new Countach and a new Testarossa , chalk and cheese is putting it mildly.
One is easy to drive is light and airy, has great aircon ,has good seats with plenty of adjustment,is very easy to get in and out of
and has electric windows that open quite along way. But it's not the best drivers car.

Thanks all and Nigel after pushing the countach for the first time today the handling certainly is chalk and cheese compared to the TR. Now done almost 150km in it .. I like it!
Some pics from today..

Admirable green credentials shown by pushing the Countach instead of starting it up :-)
Joking aside when you've a few more miles under your belt it would be interesting to hear how the TR compares, if you have time.
In the meantime some lovely pictures for us to look at.

Nothing like being throw in the deep end,I suppose you were out numbered,

Not every day you get your way blocked by a Countach then all the theatrics of

the scissor doors opening and you performing your party trick party must of made their day.
