Is that plus 10 percent plus vat for Sotherbys? White on white on white does look stunning. rat rod said:
Just watched a trailer for a new film called " Lamborghini ,The man behind the legend"
It's out on the 18th of this month, would it be a silly question to ask if any of you guys might be going
I'll definitely watch it despite it's Hollywood-esque flaws, we don't get many 'car' films really. There will be holes in the plot and timeline but it's to be expected these days, but visually, it looks very good. It's out on the 18th of this month, would it be a silly question to ask if any of you guys might be going

Maser is actually still at Migliore in Bromsgrove, I though they were sending it up to Shiltech in Loughborough but it hasn't been moved yet. While it's away I've been sorting my garage out

While you are sorting the garage out could extend it ,
Just enough for a yank to slip in ,

I watched Iain Tyrrells take on the film .. he had some good points on the authenticity.

Brilliant! I liked all but particuarly the Miami Spice one! I was impressed with how firmly she closed the door .. most people don't. Great to see it in period and those US rear bumpers look an unusual shape to others I've seen.Meanwhile, the 'Lamborghini Scenes' youtube channel has been updated with some more Countach content...

Some interesting shots there. The ones with the inspection pits .. they look like used cars, is that the case or road tested cars? Also on one shot there is a powerboat in shot ... having a lambo V12 put in?

Great shots but doesn't look like a Riva but I'm no expert. I wonder if they did others?
It wouldn't surprise me at all, they took on all sorts of stuff judging by some of the published photos I've seen. The attitude at the factory seems to be that anyone was welcome to wander around and take pictures in those days, in Andrew Morland's book 'Lamborghini - Supreme amongst Exotics' there are various casual shots taken in and around the factory showing customer's other cars in for servicing besides Lambos, including a Bentley S1 Mulliner Park Ward convertible and a Corvette C1. In another book or magazine I remember a b&w shot taken in the service bay with a small boat in the background, not as big as a Riva but still a lot bigger than the exotic cars scattered around it. I'd love to have visited the place when Ferruccio was still in charge, the atmosphere must have been very relaxed but still exciting, seeing it all unfold. For an 'upstart' company, they acheived a lot in the first ten years or so, despite the industrial turmoil happening all over Italy at the time - they gave us the prototype 350GTV, the 350 and 400GTs, Miura, Marzal, Espada, Islero, Jarama, Urraco, and LP500 and LP400 Countaches.Gassing Station | Lamborghini Classics | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
