Nice Pics..
I remember the meet those first three pics are from, what car did you have then Dave?
The Jalpa or not?
It was a pub back of Godalming that Chris Evans bought..
And the other shot,
Was that the place at Worplesdon?
And is that orange Urraco the one that is sadly no more?
I regret never being a big photographer...

Superb photos, though have you tried using Google Picasa to index and display/edit the photos on your PC or Mac, which is much easier than taking screenshots, link is: https://picasa.google.co.uk/countachman said:
Thanks rich888 I haven't tried that.I have more I am sure. I have video too. D
Great stuff... If you use Picasa you may note the 'export' button shown near the bottom of the screen, if you click it then you can choose the resolution to export your images at, so instead of being monster sized 18M files you can export them at 1600 pixels wide for use on forums such as pistonheads. Is very easy to use software, but I hear on the grapevine that Google intend to cancel the program which would be a great shame so I'm not sure how long the download link will be available for.
In terms of video, would be fantastic to see some footage. YouTube tends to be the favourite place to upload videos onto, but there are plenty of other websites to choose from.
If you're into photography then take a look at www.flickr.com which is a site where tens of thousands of photography users upload their photographs onto. Click on the 'explore' link at the top of left the page to view the most recent photographs uploaded, or perhaps search for 'Lamborghini' to see what other users have been uploading. Is a truly awesome website.
I ought to mention that I recorded several videos from the Carrera Sport Goodwood test days back in the 1980s. including the Countach spin as it exited the chicane which was very impressive indeed, and the exhaust note as it restarted and accelerated away was truly awesome.
Thank you for all that. Yes my videos are 80s and I was at that event too. Maybe you have me on film walking about and in the pink Countach?
The photos are on an old computer that I started up after 10 years and found stuff! It's been tucked away again now but I have a good collection of club magazines which feature all the cars at the time.
Thanks for the enthusiasm on the subject. Dave

Have to say that the trips down to the Goodwood supercar test days in the 1980s were pretty memorable though I only ever managed to drive down once a year. The photos are on an old computer that I started up after 10 years and found stuff! I recorded several videos on JVC video camera recording onto VHS-C tape and also using a Sony video camera recording onto video 8 (I think), have copied most of the VHS-C tapes to .MOV format, though have yet to copy the Video 8 video footage to .MOV so have no idea what I recorded.
I've been scanning most of the 35mm negatives onto a digital format, though am keeping the negatives because negative and slide scanners scanners continue to improve. I don't trust the reliability of hard drives, or for that matter 'cloud' storage.
The pink Countach was pretty damn bright to say the very least, though I did take several photographs of it and have posted the photos somewhere in this thread. Incidentally I was looking to buy a Countach back in the late 1990s and would have bought it had I known it was up for sale. Ironically Wheelhouse in Nottingham eventually sold it after a respray, and in the 1990s I lived in Nottingham!
As far as I can recollect I'm damn sure that Carrera Sport owned a yellow Silhouette though never thrashed it round Goodwood. Well not whilst I was there!
I remember managing to take a drive out around Goodwood as a passenger in an orange Uracco before the driver asked me to sit across the back seats because the last time he drove it he spun/crashed it!
Absolutely brilliant memories...
Mike Pulled had the yellow one yes I do have a photo of that. I went in Jeff's Urraco too and pictures of that I think I have posted. I use to live near goodwood as a poor student and was always down the track looking to talk my way into rides....to be honest I'm still talking myself into rides from Lamborghini owners haha....and I've been an owner!
