Hi,
Was the Countach ever fitted with a Panasonic roof radio as a factory fit.
I know some have them but were they factory or dealership fit?
I ask because I have a brand new boxed one, unused which I was going to put in my Lotus Esprit, but it wasn't standard in a JPS so the chances are it won't get fitted.
Might be sort after by a Countach owner?

There would be a load of Esprit owners all over that for top dollar regardless of the Lamborghini world. You’d prob get £1k. That is assuming it’s the correct model Panasonic though.

Yes it's the RM 610, brand new in original box with amp, all fittings, instructions, stickers etc.

Hi,
Maybe if I decide to sell it, still in two minds about fitting it.
I've got a very good idea of it's worth.
I've only ever seen a fully intact boxed example once before, the owner offered it to me at a price which made me near on st myself.............. wink

I don't recall a roof mounted radio but there was a Portman car which had two additional Alpine DIN units (one was a graphic equalizer, dont know what the other was) mounted in an additional stack next to the square dash binnacle, ie above the main unit.

I used to own one myself brand new in box and had exactly the same idea as you only mine was a standard S2, not the JPS.

I also, didn’t bother in the end as wanted to stay original so moved it on, IIRC a guy in Austria took it off me.

Are you aware that to fit in an Esprit you have to chop the rear off and that’s what the factory did when it fitted them.
