Great to have so many classic Lamborghini enthusiasts out there including Marcel from the Netherlands and it's worth checking out his www.countach-registery.com especially the LP400 section where his labour of love really pays off as he has managed to list with pics perhaps almost all.
If you own a Countach please support him by providing details . The basic info is available free but he is charging a small fee for more in-depth info and I am not too sure about this approach but do recognise the hours he must have spent putting this together.

I have no affiliation.

Hi Stephen,

Very kind of you to introduce this Countach-Register here on PistonHeads.

I have just signed up here, and I might need some help from all you UK Countach lovers to get even more RHD cars registered.
Already a lot of them cars listed, but I'm amazed how many went to the UK!

With 2000 Countach's built, it is a huge task, but I will try my best for Countach history ;-)

Ciao!
Marcel

You are most welcome Marcel and I think it's great what you have put together, so congratulations.

I would suggest you start a new thread with "countach registry help needed"
or something similar in the headline, as I am sure most of the Countach owners on here will support you.

I do know however, that some owners like to remain low key which is their prerogative.

I think the Lamborghini Club UK could help you so it may be worth you asking for a message to be included in the magazine which incidentally is glossy, and a very good read for a relatively small club. The club is very helpful regarding all things Lamborghini.

And all are really nice people which is refreshing.

If you would like, I am happy to ask on your behalf and if that is OK PM me the details.

Thanks Stephen,

I have just started the Countach Register a few months ago, and it will need a few years to grow.
There is a lot of information on forums like LamborghiniChat, Facebook and Instagram.
The Dutch cars are alll known by myself and Lamborghini historian Marcel de Lange, who unfortunately is no longer with us (RIP)
Also many guys are helping me like Raymond, he knows all the Swiss cars, Kevin knows them almost all, Victor expert on early Countach's. Guys like Fabrice et Pierre are tracking all French cars. Paul Clemence is a good help on UK cars, and Robert Westall of course, really impressive what he knows! The goal is to combine all that important knowledge and keep it safe. Too many info and pictures are lost in time, when people lose interest or just die.
I have been making car pictures myself since early 1980's. Every Countach picture I ever took will eventually be on the Register, many hundreds. It would be sad to keep them all for myself, I want people to enjoy them before I die.
There is indeed a little fee asked for a membership, as I have some costs for the site security updates, and I might buy some flowers for my wife now and then because I'm always sitting very boring behind my computer ;-) But I also offer free memberships if guys are helping me with info and pictures of course, that's only fair. I first will check out some threads here like David Snapper Seven's, really amazing stuff! Thanks for the offer on the UK magazine, that might be a nice idea for the future. For the moment, I still have a lot of updating to do, it's a very time consuming project ;-) Kindest regards, Marcel

Nice picture, grazie! Looks like a RHD 5000 S. Could this be #DLA12642 new to Statusbase London for Skinner?

Nice site, a real labour of love!

Can I ask what one of the abbrevaitions is?

For delivery destination on chassis 1121320m it says "Creswell D.R.". Where is that please?

Yes.
Blimey, how did you know that!?
I had to go and look at my paperwork.
I’ve had it since 1993.

Thanks! I only have Creswell D.R. , England.
Perhaps somebody here on PH might know..Dr. Creswell perhaps?
btw I had 1121320 listed as an LP400 S Series 2, but it is fact a Series 3, so I moved it ;-)

Well, not that many RHD Bianco/Blue 5000 S around ;-)
Here is a picture of your car taken by Paul Clemence, on plates LBG 74 formerly A668 KAY (GB)
White wheels! Seats inserts and pockets on the door panels in white leather.

Still all exactly the same, apart from the white wheels, which Del Hopkins told me were never original.

I doubt that...with a little extra money everything could be arranged in those days. Just like the special blue/white interior your car has.
White wheels would have been a perfect match for this combination ordered. You could sent an email with this question to polostorico@lamborghini.com, just for fun ;-)

Del would have done the PDI on the car originally.
The Polostorico records aren’t perfect in my experience. They had the wrong red for my Diablo.
But I might ask.

This is a picture of Valentino driving my car when it had done 150 kms.
It’s from the Jeremy Coulter book
No white wheels.
