Bought a 570 Spider Today

I too did this recently, and am so impressed with the car. I always wanted a little more aggression at the rear of the car though so today I added the Novitec carbon fibre rear wing. Appreciate it won’t be to everyone’s taste but I think it just finishes off the back end perfectly. Now if the weather could just sort itself out, I’d really like to go driving!

I love the look of the wing as it adds just the right amount of sporty aggression to the rear . How does it compare to your recent 991.2GT3 Manual in terms of feel and excitement.?I think the 570S is a perfect stable mate to your 981 Spyder.
PS What Blue is your 570..?

I must admit I do miss the manual, but I have the Spyder for that so it’s not too big a deal. I personally prefer the handling and hydraulic steering to my GT3, although I do miss the sound of the flat 6 at the top end. In terms of excitement, I think the ability to chop the top off is what sold it to me, it just heightens everything. That said, if I could buy a GT3 manual convertible, I probably would!I think the 570S is a perfect stable mate to your 981 Spyder.

The problem at the moment is that Porsche don’t actually make anything I want to buy. I must say the dealership/customer experience with McLaren was nowhere near that of Porsche (in fact it was fairly poor) but overall I’m actually really glad I made the change; there’s no denying this is a truly fantastic car. Yes I’ll lose money, but most cars do in the real world.
