I got a Mavic Mini for xmas, so had a play with it last Sunday when the sun was out.

Just learning to fly it, and also edit video. Made a short 2 minute clip of my flight.

The aerial view makes the 720S look very alien smile

Not many cars look good from above. The 720 in that colour looks extraordinarily good.

That looks incredible! Love the air channels that curve around the cockpit

It doesn't matter whatever angle you take a shot of the 720 - it is the total epitome of how a supercar should look smile - nice one Jas

It is the shape of a teardrop. The most aerodynamic shape there is.

I hope you've registered to fly! (I wish I were joking).

I have a Mavic Air and it's a superb little thing. Enjoy the Mini, learn all you can and then go create...

Thanks all, glad you enjoyed the video & pics.

720S is stunning, but pics don't really do them justice.

However, seeing it from above was interesting as it's not a perspective we normally see. And as hucumber said, it really demonstrates the incredible aero of the car.

Kyodo, why what happened? (Mine is a Mini, which does not require registration.)

Nothing happened, I'm a careful owner! The mini must be DJI's answer then, keeping under 250g smile

Yes, it's the only reason the Mini was designed at 249g. The Japanese version of the drone is 199g (smaller battery), to meet their lower restrictions.

I just wish they make a Mini Pro (at a higher price), where they unlock the camera features that are deliberately nerfed.

It was certainly a pro when I was choosing colour, and went with this orange instead of my second choice of red smile

Yep, all the owners of the other cars in that busy car park were definitely thinking that...oh, wait.

I do apologise sincerely and profusely. I let down McLarens everywhere with that pitiful effort frown

I was trying to go for a record 4 bays, but the McLaren is just not long enough. frown

I need to get my hands on a Speedtail...maybe go for a world record 5 bays smile

Here’s a couple of shots out on the road in Southern Germany. Some interesting metal behind.
And yes that is a Garmin stuck on the windscreen as the in car nav system is next to useless for anything remotely cross country. Poor show McL.

Stunning - is that Memphis or Tornado Red?

Looks Memphis to me. Lovely smile

But McLaren paints change dramatically in different light and especially in direct sun (as seen in my video).

Agree about car satnavs. The McLaren one is better than average though, but all car systems are inferior to Waze.
