Well done !
See you on the MOC hopefully.
Here's a few replies to loose ends on my earlier post
The underbody parts are aerodynamic - thee should be 6 of them - 2 "wedges" at the front and 4 hockey sticks further back. The front ones seem to cop it first, I've lost 2 so far so I've taken to fixing them with Velcro rather than screws. They are only £35 each from MCL so better to loose them than risk damage to the (much more expensive) undertray
I made a comment about a Leisure battery. To be honest it's just an Idea, but I've been around in the car industry long enough to know roughly what I'm talking about. The rough plan would be to buy a 120ah Leisure battery and if you know the car is going to stand then plug it into the cig socket in the frunk then disconnect the lithium one. The car would remain "live" on the leisure battery for a very long time, the leisure battery will withstand multiple deep discharges without damage (the Lithium one is much more vulnerable to this).
The point to remember is that the Lithium is around 13.6 to 14.0 V fully charged whereas the Leisure battery is only 12,6v at best. This is why you would need to switch the wiring over - at the same time making sure you don't disconnect the feed completely. As I said, just an idea - but I really dont see why not if it's done right.
Anyway, congrats on the new car - When you collect make sure the battery charger's there, the 2 books are in the holder above the passengers knees and the black pouch with the detachable towing ring is in the Frunk. There's 2 or 3 good Thorney videos that offer sound advice on checking a car over if youre still at that stage.

update:
Finally the day came, yesterday i picked up the 12C, to say i was excited was an understatement, literally shaking with adrenaline! I'll post full first impressions, and pics asap, but all i can say is WOW, what a car, and how wrong i was about it being slower tan my 911...goodness me it's fast, and the sound it makes with sports exhaust, through a tunnel, like an F1 car..... still can't believe I own such a thing!

Stunning looking 12C dank; congrats on the purchase!Thing is, i have never thought that pictures ever do McLarens justice; in the flesh they are even more stunning.
Enjoy your new supercar and be prepared for making new friends almost every time that you stop anywhere...they do attract so much positive attention from joe public.
Haven't you washed it or polished yet
Lovely looking car, you'll enjoy that like no other car before, makes a Porsche feel second rate. I'm still in the honeymoon period after 5 months, I even just went for a drive last night for the sake of it, first time in decades, they get under your skin which you'll soon discover.

So after taking her out today i have to say how incredible a car it is. I also have no idea why people say Iris2 is bad, it seems to work very well indeed, streaming audio from my iphone, phone calls etc, haven't tried the navi, all seems very clear and easy to use. I am sure it will crash occasionally, but thats when trying to do more than one thing at a time?
Driving: The suspension is pretty hard even on softest setting, and the pot holed roads don't help, but once on smoother dual carriage ways it feel super comfortable. I am addicted already to the howl the engine makes in track mode, it's phenomenal. Coming from my 911 turbo which was very very quiet, this truly feels like a real supercar. Acceleration is brutal, and you do have to watch yourself as the numbers leap up in a blur, easy to get to silly speeds. The steering is just sublime, reminds me of an Exige, but larger, more powerful and more comfortable, like a grown up Lotus ( no offence to Lotuses meant ) - so direct and so much feedback, the steering wheel also feels amazing, and the whole instrument panel, dash layout, such an amazing car!!!!!!
Still can't believe it's mine!
