I'm surprised it could drive up and over the roof or the McLaren too - I know the Q5 is a big car but they aren't that high up are they?

Considering it’s got a a shiny Q5 badge on the back I’m assuming it’s a Q5 laugh

Reassuring to see that the Audi ended up within the delineated white-lined area, so no parking offence was committed.

I reckon this was deliberately done by the Audi driver. The space was too small to drive in (wouldn't be able to open his door) so drove up the McLaren and flipped the car perfectly on its side biggrin

That was my first thought. I hope everyone is alright. Shame about both motors.
I’d say one less Karen wagon on the road can only be a good thing.

Probably one of the annual "old giffer who should have stopped driving a while ago, drives into static object for no apparent reason" incidents. Unfortunately there is often someone killed in the process; happily, not this time.

Looks like the Audi driver had the visual perception of someone that can't tell the difference between Mclaren models!

That's an old picture/story. I live and Sevenoaks and have actually just come back from Sainsburys. That work you can see being done on the shop was a few years ago now, so this must have been hanging around for a while.

Classic hit the wrong pedal, panic, push same pedal harder until the car wont move anymore, not something you want to come back from shopping to find, bet the Audi drivers insurance went up that year !

Excellent reporting by Kent Live if you click through to the original story

Repairing a McLaren is not a cheap business, however.

According to one website, an annual service alone costs £599.

Pity the Audi flipped, it would have been better stuck perpendicular.

More seriously, thank goodness no one was in the McLaren, I cannot begin to think what it must have looked like to see the roof caving onto your head.
