That's an old picture/story. I live and Sevenoaks and have actually just come back from Sainsburys. That work you can see being done on the shop was a few years ago now, so this must have been hanging around for a while.
No - it happened yesterday.
I can assure you it didn't. There is no scaffold/building works on Sevenoaks Sainsburys.

The owner of the McLaren is a member of MOC.

It happened yesterday!

There's no scaffolding visable on the pictures on here or the sun pictures/video either

But there are plenty of Covid masks being worn

Are you getting confused with the roof edge fall protection railing?

My take on this FWIW
Audi driver, who suffers from ducks disease swings into an empty space in their left. Due to the “lofty command driving position” of aforementioned Audi cannot see the super low Sports car as it’s nearly on the floor. Probably felt the first bump and though it was a kerb quick prod on the gas and it’s all over.
Looks like it might be a full set of all the other cars as well, the woman peering into the boot of her car behind the MaC doesn’t look to charmed and the one on the left looks to have taken a blow as well. Good effort.

Simply the Audi driver when reversing didn't see the 570S because so lower compared to the Audi? Ignoring rr parking sensors?

Edit: looking again at the picture, clearly I am wrong, it can only be explained by mental or mechanical fault.

Anyway, seriously, it's really dangerous to drive a car like a McLaren in urban environment where majority of cars have higher stance or are SUV.

Worst of the worst, thinking of safely use it to go shopping. Sorry but that is the mental madness.

Are you drunk?

Of course it’s not dangerous. People walk, cycle, and run in urban environments. Driving a sports car really isn’t near the most dangerous activity that people do, and this one has an intact passenger cell.

That’s a good shout! I can see this happening.

Not drunk, but I can re phrase: I wouldn’t recommend to anyone the use of a supercar in an urban environment, unless you want to take the risk to have your car destroyed like the aboove.

I’ve driven them for years in London, and never had an issue, not a near miss. I don’t really see it as a problem.

Can you imagine the Mc driver parking far away from anybody else to avoid a door ding, comes out to find that.

Not as importantly, but also important biggrin Why on earth did they park at the front of a supermarket car park in a nice car. You park right at the end.

The owner was very lucky this time that they didn't get a dent on the door.

Looks like the two parked cars, white car and light blue car have both been damaged by the actions of the Q5.

The white car by being driven over by the Q5.

The white car seems to have also been shunted by the impact into the light blue car parked behind.

I think it is really unfair to blame the victim.
