The Iconic currently only comes with the yellow interior.

The Techno is more of a denim interior.

Neither of them are 'great' in my eyes, but the Techno is the better of the two.
Not sure why the iconic only comes with the yellow interior which is somewhat marmite. I personally don’t like it. The Techno doesn’t come with heated seats or heated wheel.
I do like the Alpine but with optional paint and wheels that’s another £10k

In France there are more options / choice of interior etc. but I expect that in the UK they are limiting the initial choices to get the deliveries out more quickly. In time, there will be more choice.

Also we will be the only left driving market I guess, so easier to schedule batches for production if they planned in advance. Japanese/ Koreans tend to do the same - because of the shipping time

Nice looking cars, will certainly be on the list when we change one of ours in a couple of years.
Currently 2 SUV types. An BEV & a PHEV.
A smaller car, as a second car, will suit us now.

Yeah I'm kinda torn between them, my wife doesn't like the Techno wheels and she's all 'for the outside' lol - but as I said to her, who's gonna be keeping that yellow clean?? ME biggrin (however, I could do with the lumbar support, and the heated seats are a bonus... decisions decisions).

One thing that irks me though is the Midnight Blue Techno comes with a nice 'white' logo on the side arch, whereas Icon has a red one that doesn't work imho with the blue. I need to ADD the £400 option of white black sticker with black roof to get rid of it biggrin (or maybe just a hairdryer lol)

It would be great if Renault would embrace a higher level of individual specification or customisation like BMW did when they relaunched the Mini. I know this may lead to increased lead times or a price impact but some people (me included) would be happy to take that impact to get the spec we truly want.

Renault Enfield completely in-penetrable when I arrived today to take a look at the R5, so I drove on.

Sort of Mad Max , 28 Days Later, Quatermass; completely rammed with vehicles arranged to prevent access in any way.

I wasn’t fool enough to enter the narrow canyon signed ‘customer parking,’ from which escape seemed unlikely.

Any recommendations for other dealers; South East, Anglia or London?

Luke.

Perhaps you should have entered 'Customer Parking'. Just a thought...

I ordered mine from Wilson’s in Epsom.

It’s now showing as being built, but with a delivery of April 7 - 27. Hopefully that will improve!

Head west. Some great dealers in Wiltshire, with spaces in their parking lots to boot.
Mine is currently being built also, estimated delivery slot 31st March - 13th April. Got a chassis number and tracked on the Renault App as being in build.

Rather than improving it is now showing as May! Given it is being built and I would guess that doesn't even take a week, fingers crossed it will change....

It will be in the system to be bult, it is unlikely it is actually being built yet.

My R-Pass customers have estimated arrival into the UK of between late March to early April, none are being built yet, however are scheduled to be, in early March.

Are these being delivered or demo’d yet?

I had a dark blue one on a 74 plate behind me for a couple of minutes today. Looked surprisingly anonymous other than the DRLs

I had a phone call from a dealer near Romford saying they have a demo in stock and offering me a drive.

I won't be able to do that for a week or two and in any case I think it might be too small for our needs.

Arnold Clark Hillington (Glasgow) have three in. yellow in the showroom and a yellow outside with a registered green as well, assuming its the demo.
