It was fantastic!

Drove down on the Wednesday, drove through 3 massive rainstorms and was thought this year would be a write-off.
Arrive at camp , Sun and light cloud for the entirety!

Didn't see anymore rain till i was back in the Uk!

Major luck weather-wise

It is. 2 years ago was too hot, it was unpleasant

That looks lovely!
Aside from the ‘surface of the sun’ temps in the tent I could have quite happily lived with that.

Just south east of Mulsanne here, and it hit 41C yesterday, but is now but 21C and very comfortable.

20º is a big drop and welcome I’m sure.
31º here in Cambridgeshire yesterday, that was enough. Better here too today.

Having booked next year's trip already, there is only one question to ask........
How good is the cat on "long range" forecasts?
If the cat comes good tell it there's a pack of dreamies in it for it

No point, he always keeps us guessing.
The big concern I have is: How old is this cat? Does it like playing in traffic? And....what's the succession plan?

I think kitters needs to step forward with some answers

All valid points however one that needs answering is ...is the cat male or female? If it's female then any logic ceases to apply.....

Definitely a male. A female would try to reverse into the tent, get it wrong, damage it, then complain that it should have been a nice hotel.

I'll get me coat...

So, did the tent go up last Saturday/what did the cat do kiters42? Or have you put it off till the end of August to get a cat-caste for the (current) Sept. LM24 date?

We have seen one storm in two months and a couple of showers. It is 28C and climbing tomorrow and according to the weather station at Arnage this will be the coolest day until June 8th. Mind you, the storm was a cracker. Thunder and lightning overhead - simultaneous lightning and thunder clap - and it threw it down for one hour. The electrics were blown out and we are still awaiting a new surge protector. Sod's law says it will be fine in June but be aware that in September it can get chilly at night. Down to single figures.

We did Put the tent up last night just for something to do in this mad lockdown and the cat did go in from the front but not all the way into the tent just sat there in the front looking at me in an odd way very strange not sure what to make of that

No, that's ridiculous.

Mind you, with so much time on your hands kitters.. would you mind get the cat laid so that there's some sort of succession plan for those relying on the cat forecast? Not me...just some people...just in case...please???
