Taking my sons to their first Le Mans, in 2015 & 2017. Both were 15yrs old at the time and had to be taken out of school for a week, two great trips that really built a bond.

All three of us were to go back last year but COVID kyboshed that sadly....

Going back to my early visits - the Sunday morning update provided by the local newspapers with the retired cars/drivers brutally marked with a red cross.

Seconded, lock this thread, nothing else will beat that, not even the picture of Superman being questioned by the police which always makes me smile.

This one for me.

It is Alf, my son. 16 years old at his 10th Le Mans and the first time he'd stayed up all night.
I think he fell asleep just as the sun started to rise, I gave him a coffee and he was awake until we got back to the UK on sunday evening.

Alas I don't have a photo of the pirate ship that toured the houx campsite - think around 2005

Simply brilliant and one of the only times that a supercar pales in significance to the subject of the photo!
