And with the Peugeot announcement of moving from Oreca to Ligier i think thier is little hope for the team to make a come back in the short term.

Sad news they reminded me of red bull it their early years in it for the fun. Really was looking forward to them working with Peugeot. 😢

Wonder what it will really do for their brand, moving away from core, a bit like Rolex saying they are going to stop making watches and concentrate on handbags

Oreca didn't want to do hyper only make money on the DPI or what it is called hence the split to Ligier.... Rebellion I think was caught up in it and generally on their way out and this just finished it

Peugeot have already announced they will partner Total instead and it doesn't affect their programming.

Maybe I'm due a woosh parrot, but Rebellion are first and foremost a watch maker confused
Hopefully it is just the sponsor moving out, and the team will return to be Speedy Racing, as they were in 2009 and earlier, before they took their sponsor's name.

I also wonder if the garage that maintains my Maserati will return to be Speedy Garage, they rebranded themselves as Rebellion Motors only a couple of years ago to align with their racing team's name scratchchin

Well i have supported the team for many years and i do love mechanical watches, however Rebellion watches are not really my type of thing, i hope the team gets another life in sportscar racing, whatever form it takes
