Still talking small numbers and trying not to get sucked into the media frenzy of apocalyptic doom.
Are your priorities wrong when all you’re worried about is LM2020 taking place!!!!!
I’m still going with ‘this will blow over... today’s news, tomorrows fish n chip papers’
No, 'will it affect Le Mans?' is the correct response to any impending global crisisAre your priorities wrong when all you’re worried about is LM2020 taking place!!!!!

The French government announced yesterday that the spread of the coronavirus is now out of control. Judging by the local supermarket here at Le Mans a small degree of panic is setting in, with hand gel nonexistent and shelves stripped, and some people (very few it must be said) wearing masks and gloves.

Its all that hugging and cheek kissing that's the problem. In the UK, the only stripped shelves are those of the toilet paper section. We want to go with a clean bum.None of this makes much sense

I don’t expect this to go away for at least a month so I would expect all events cancelled until first half of April at least. delta0 said:

Spa WEC
Im guessing the first will be cancelled or postponed, the 2nd will probably go ahead.
If Moto 24 gets moved I'll be quite happy, having it so close to Spa is a bit of a pain

Well, 1,000 out of 60 million is miniscule. Either the containment will work (which I doubt) or the growth will be logarithmic. Roughly speaking, 1,000 is 50% up on a week ago. Tickets are still being sold for the Superbike weekend of 27/29 March, which seems rather silly. Are they limiting sales to 999 tickets? Then we have the 24 Hour bike race in April which usually has about 80,000 coming, and so on.
I wonder when they will announce race plans for Moto 24, only 4.5 weeks to goFrom the 24 Hour bike race site:-
For the moment, we have not been notified of any requirement to postpone or cancel any of our sporting events scheduled in the coming weeks on the Le Mans circuit. Our event calendar remains unchanged.
We are confident that the 24 Hours of Le Mans will go ahead as planned on 13-14 June.
Please note that our priority is to maintain our published schedule for 2020.
However, should it be necessary to do so, we will reschedule events later in the year.
In the event of a cancellation, tickets will be refunded.
