We have been the Roscoff route a couple of times. But we prefer Pompey to Caen. We usually go Tuesday night, back Monday.

Because I don’t live in the U.K. now Ireland I got three questions in and told I am not eligible to answer!

Well screw em! Not going this year!

(Did anybody understand any of that?) Anyway so much would have to happen before November for it to be safe, I doubt its possible

Also received the survey today. Completed no problem. I indicated I will not be attending 2020.

So compiling the results of this survey will result in the event not going ahead as no one completed it.

Possibly the reason for the survey!

Yes i got another survey yesterday, not the same as the ACO one i filled in soon after the 2019 race, but suspect it was on behalf of the ACO, took a while to complete. It seemed to be designed to find out if anyone wanted to pay for a meal voucher included in the price of tickets and how the ACO could get more of your money rather than related to the Covid 19 outbreak.

Has anyone got an email link to the survey? Rather intrigued as to what it’s asking, always go via ticket agency private camping so suspect not on the ACO database.

The link was customised so it know who sent it! I could forward it but each time I have clicked it on separate devices on different Wi-Fi and 4G it still says it’s completed.

i get exactly the same, so as you said you can only fill it in if you have been requested to do so.

Could it be that we will have Lemans 2021? or any other high-end international competition with the public? I truly question it. More than the public health problems, there is the economic reason. All countries are focused on reactivating their economies, starting with priority, and careers are not located in this line.

How is the Le mans issue with the coronavirus? In the end is it going to be done?

2021 should be fine as long as the vaccine is out, working and available in Europe would be my guess

Probably later in the year and behind closed doors - maybe on the shorter Bugatti circuit?

Not a chance. 40 cars on the Bugatti circuit would be carnage. And behind closed doors would be financial suicide. It will either go ahead or it won't. September is the cutoff. Any later and it would be virtual night race.

Highly unlikely to be a smaller field on the Bugatti circuit, but given the amount the ACO charge the teams I'm not sure it'd be financial suicide , their costs would be massively reduced by being behind closed doors and on the permanent track

Just been sent an ACO survey. It starts off trying to work out what will get me to come in Sept/Oct /Nov 2020 but it goes on and on and so I gave up.

On a lighter note this: www.le-mans-guide.co.uk might bring back some great memories of the Le Mans Experience

- STAY SAFE AND SEE YOU AT THE NEXT LE MANS -

All the best

That's exactly as far as I got, gave up with the survey, I was on the verge of slitting my wrists I found it that tedious.
I would love to know which morons write out these bloody questions, their life must be so much fun! nerd

Would it be carnage? They have a crazy number of bikes on it for moto 24...i know not the same thing but they somehow manage it without killing anyone (I don't know how). Don't they do a test session on it?

As mentioned in another postI believe the entry fees are humongous- like many thousands per car even at AM level, it could be the way forward playing to an empty stadium. Who knows???
