just wondering, has anyone applied for a refund for tickets bought for this years, now postponed, LMC? I am aware that we could hold on to the tickets and use them next year, but some of our group would prefer their money back.

Two options:

You decide to attend Le Mans Classic 2021 on the new dates (July 1 to 4): your tickets will be valid for these new dates. Thus, you are guaranteed not to suffer a 2021 potential rate increase. The amounts paid for the 2020 edition will be placed in a bank escrow account and made unavailable before then.

You cannot attend Le Mans Classic in 2021. From October 1 to November 20, 2020, we will set up a reimbursement procedure from which administrative costs will be deducted. Considering the overload of work that our accounting department will face, we thank you in advance for showing a little patience.

Hi Phil, that's helpful, thanks. I take it that your post was a quote, if so where did it come from? I'm an ACO member, but don't recall seeing anything like that before....

Took it straight from the LMC site, they seen to be different entities so not sure if the ACO are that involved from the commercial side.

So having waited until 1 Oct for the promised refund procedure, I just got an email saying no refunds will be issued. You can only apply for a credit note and these will not be issued until July 2021 at the earliest.
