We’ve had confirmation through of our replacement GAs and camping pass shifted to Bleu Nord
From the ACO? And by email or physical letter?

If you log in to your ACO account and check the ticketing receipts you will see what they have allocated you

Good thinking that man! Also been moved from Bleu Sud to Bleu Nord, which after previous comments doesn't come as a surprise.

BLEU NORD. Am I right in thinking these are normally sized and allocated pitches?

Yes normally allocated and I think 5X7 pitches.

According to. Just Tickets who emailed me today, the ACO are opening one campsite at a time up to their capacity of 50k a day through the gates. So once Bleu Nord is "full" they will move on to the next.

If you want to camp, you don't get to choose where.

Completely incorrect again. Three choices of camping and it’s printed on your ticket!

Keep an eye on parking. Our arnarge has changed to rouge at the opposite end of the circuit. That can be refunded I think!

Having been informed by an ACO committee member only ten days ago that all camping sites were closed, it does now seem as if they are making it up as they go along. I am getting a bit frazzled with the mathematics of it all. If the ACO members have 5,000 tickets, plus the main ticket office opened yesterday, plus all of you who have tickets carried over from last year and have/have not decided to come, how the hell are they controlling the 50,000? and that is paying persons plus the hangers on and the marshals guest tickets and and and..............

Not that I'm worried really. I'll be on the golf club roof anyway.

Closely monitoring the situation unfold in the UK and France in an attempt to reach a conclusion on quarantine requirements - pretty much impossible to know though! My group have agreed that we will go if there are no quarantines in either France or UK. I have an invoice from the ACO to show that our general entrance, grandstand and parking (blanc) tickets have been converted to the new August date.
Anyone know where you can download your ticket? Can’t see the option and wanted to check grandstand. Maybe I’m being impatient.

ETA: the Times are running this (speculative) story. A potential glimmer of hope though.

Think we're going to 'pass' for this year.

The ACO have reverted to type and are making stuff up on the hoof or depending on the wind direction send out a random email contradicting the previous email sent out and deny that the other information is correct.

I suspect there may be some fallout from this. They cosied up to ticket agencies over the past 10-15 years and are cutting a lot of them out.

To be fair to all commercial entities involved there are still too many unknowns.

Out of curiosity where do you see the ACO denying the other information is correct?

By no means 'defending' the ACO - there are certainly times where Amateur Club de l'Ouest would be more fitting.

Further proving your new acronym, their ticket site appears to be down!

Will be interesting to see what gets announced on Thursday, but it's not just the allowing of brits to travel by the UK, but if the French are also willing to let the UK residents in without Quarantine restrictions and what vaccine requirements there will be.
