Not sure - I just clicked on the 'refund now' button in the email.
As per usual they seem to struggle with anything digital.
I did the online refund request and sent an email with details to confirm I wanted a refund. This was acknowledged as received and will be processed soon. As per usual they seem to struggle with anything digital.
Not sure why or whether it should have changed from the ‘automatic’ process first published.

As our group is very much committed to attending this year if at all possible and still not receiving anything through the post from the ACO, I contacted the ticket office to follow-up. I even attached the credit note PDF from my account (as some have said this is the same as arrives in the post).
The reply from the ticket office:
Dear Sir,
You cannot book by mail, I advise you to try our website.
Kind regards
The tickets office
So now I’m completely confused as to what to do next!

I assume you've let your 2020 booking roll over?The reply from the ticket office:

If so, if you log in to the ticketing part of the ACO website, within the My Account section there you'll find the invoice for the 2021 issued tickets. The last page of that is the form to complete and send back to confirm you want the tickets. I believe that is the same as you'll get through the post (I asked the ACO the same question, and that was their reply).

Not a pleasant thing to recount, but the indian virus is taking hold in the Sarthe.
Hopefully people are getting vaccinated. It really does make a massive difference.We are teaming up with our partner 1st Tickets to host an event in the UK where you can come and watch the race. Appreciate there's no substitute for those dedicated to attend in person, but for those interested, you can find more information and register your interest here.
I sent an email to chase up refunds and got this response;
‘Dear Sir,
We acknowledge good receipt of your refund claim made on 17/06/2021.
It has been forwarded to our partner mandated to collect the IBAN.
You, therefore, should have received an email to fill this information. The bank transfer will be made within the 10 days following your reply.
You may need to check your junk boxe.
Kind Regards,
The Ticket Office’
I’ve definitely not received anything.
Has anyone else received an email from this ‘partner’ agency?
Having gone from a supposed automatic refund process, this is turning into the predictably slow/troublesome process I envisaged.

I had an Email on the 16th June from The ACO requesting the IBAN number. Had the money refunded back into my account last week. ‘Dear Sir,

Excellent news - providing the French maintain the existing entry requirements too (and France stays as Amber).

Slightly concerned about your dreams mate... vive le France and all that, but dreaming about Macron!?
Anyway... if you're double vaccinated you're good - https://www.gov.uk/foreign-travel-advice/france/en...

The UK is currently on the Amber list for France.
"If you are vaccinated:
upon boarding, each traveller aged 11 years or older must present a negative PCR test taken less than 72 hours before the flight or a negative antigenic test taken less than 48 hours before the flight.
The measures regarding pressing grounds for travel and quarantine which are applicable to vaccinated adults also apply to any minors accompanying them, whether they are vaccinated or not.
If you are not vaccinated:
you can only travel to France if you have pressing grounds for travel. The list of pressing grounds is set out in the certificate of international travel drawn up by the Ministry of the Interior.
each traveller aged 11 years or older must present a negative PCR test taken less than 72 hours before departure or a negative antigenic test taken less than 48 hours before departure.
you may be subject to a random test when you arrive in France.
you must pledge to self-isolate for 7 days.

"Travel documents
Depending on your circumstances, you must complete and carry some of the following documents in order to board:
proof of vaccination. It will only be valid if it proves that you are fully vaccinated, i.e.:
Two weeks after the second shot for two-shot vaccines (Pfizer, Moderna, AstraZeneca);
Four weeks after the shot for one-shot vaccines (Johnson & Johnson);
Two weeks after the shot for vaccines administered to people who have already had COVID-19 (only one dose is necessary).
Only vaccines authorized by the European Medicines Agency (EMA) will be accepted, i.e. Pfizer (Comirnaty), Moderna, AstraZeneca (Vaxzevria) and Johnson & Johnson (Janssen).
(for all travellers) a sworn declaration, which you can download from the Interior Ministry’s website stating that
you have no symptoms of COVID-19 infection;
to your knowledge, you have not been in contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19 in the 14 days prior to your journey;
(if you are aged 11 years or older) you agree to submit to a virological RT-PCR test for SARS-CoV-2 upon arrival in France;
(where applicable) you pledge to self-isolate for seven days;
(for non-vaccinated travellers arriving from a “red” country) you are aware that you will have to quarantine for 10 days upon arrival in France."

My brother crossed on Tuesday. Here is his report:
So - the border stuff at Eurotunnel was easy. We had an issue with our tickets, but that was nothing to do with Brexit or Covid. The French customs dude asked for our passports, then Covid test certificate, then vax proof and all done and off we went. I was concerned that they would fuss about the NHS Scotland vac proof which doesn’t show batch numbers so technically we might have been Covisheild people (although apparently there are none, the stuff hasn’t been used yet), then that I might have got the wrong tests done, then that the vet had screwed up Eiger’s AHC and finally that we’d get stung for taxes on all the Christmas, engagement, birthday and wedding pressies in the car! So a weight lifted as we drove onto the train.
Quarantine on return being dropped now too, so moving in the right direction.
The test he did was:
Antigen - cost £40 at Stansted Airport walk-through. Results came through in about 30-40 mins. As of Wedensday they have set up a drive through one too. Handy for anyone in easy reach of Stansted or passing close by en-route.

And another thing - You are meant to print off and sign an attestation. We did and had to confirm to Eurotunnel that we had, but we weren't asked for it at border control. Link to the form (NB they change it to match the requirements in force, so it might say something else by the time Le 24hdM comes around) - https://www.interieur.gouv.fr/content/download/128...
