I bought some stickers on Ebay for £2 that go over the previous GB and EU thing. Easy. Hopefully road testing them in France in August.
One of my friends is just using a magnetic GB sticker - not a bad idea

It is when one of my cars is aluminium and the other fibreglass. And I think the wifes car is made out of recycled coke bottles hehe

I always use magnetic ones on our classics small next to number plate and a large one under the rear bumper

Any views on whether this is or is not a "GB sticker"?

Spotted a brand new car the other day with a white front plate, red border round it but the border stopped short of where the blue bit used to be. That section was un-bordered and white, it had red GB and Union flag in it.

Is that the new style or just something somebody has made up?

The only number plates I can think of with red on them are trade plates (the letters/numbers will also be red) and Isle of Man number plates (but I don’t think they have the red border)

You can buy 'show plates' in all kinds of designs and colours.

I've got red borders on mine, thin ones.

I assume that’s an aesthetic thing rather than a requirement?
