Travel Destinations Porsche curves
Discussion
To be fair TD have now moved me to the right crossing and day, I was just lucky I had checked their crossing details and realised they has booked the crossing date wrong and that the Wednesday ferry hadn't sold out in the week between notifying them and get confirmation of the change.
Interesting, I would have thought they would be looking at either the spectator zone on the inside of the circuit or possibly the area to the right of TD's area (if looking down towards Arnage) where they sometime hold corporate events during the race (Porsche had it last year). We shall see.

I would have thought it will be on the inside of the curves if anywhere. Lycian do have an event guide on the wbsite as a download, although specific to the Village it may have some useful information which may be of value to others in Le Mans

Hi all, will be attending for the first time this year. Booked the pre-erect tent option with TD on Porsche Curves. Counter to what others have shared, I've had a pretty smooth ride with them, albeit will accept I have no previous engagement to benchmark it against and we are on plain euro tunnel transfers.
Packing light with a gas stove, tables, chairs, torches and a cooler box with as many drinks we can load in. Planning on managing food out there.
Looking for any views on or "things I wish I had known" from others who have had the pre-erect tent option previously.
Can ice be purchased out there easily?

It can get pretty cold at night so pack warm stuff. Packing light with a gas stove, tables, chairs, torches and a cooler box with as many drinks we can load in. Planning on managing food out there.

The “Igloo” cool boxes can last 5 days if prepped correctly. They aren’t cheap but work.
Take a small FM radio and plug in headphones to listen to Radio Le Mans.
Walk into Arnage on Friday afternoon for beers and a great atmosphere.
Ice can be bought at the supermarket and if they run out they sell frozen bottles of water which you can stick in your ice box.

thanks for the replies: helpful links and will look through them,
Arriving Thursday mid-afternoon, on the 10am Euro Tunnel over then driving down, most likely the direct route over.
Are cars easy to get in and out of the camping site? I have expected that once in, we probably won't use it as we tram/shuttle around the spots.
Do TD have their own shuttle runs around the circuit or did I misread something else?
Has anyone had the pre-erect tent option...wondering if I need to pack the air mattress ...
