Anyone else going? Dates this year are 18-19-20 Sept.

I've just booked our ferry crossings and accommodation in Angouleme and we'll probably have a week in the Camargue beforehand.

We went last year after previously going in 2003 and 2005. Great event to incorporate a touring holiday. We might make a late decision to go, seeing Monaco Historic and Classic Le Mans are cancelled.

Well, astonishingly, it looks like this is still going ahead. Nothing on the website to say otherwise, but I am sure that there's a ban on >5000 people meeting in France - there will be many more at this event. Anyone heard anything to the contrary? Not sure I fancy being surrounded by big crowds on a hot day at the moment!

Official notice on their website is finally there. Dates for 2021 are 17-18-19 Sept, we have provisional pans afoot!

As an aside, organisers of the CdR are going to contact all who have paid in the next few days to arrange refunds; Accor hotels, with whom we had a non-refundable stay booked, offered us an 18-month credit note without even being asked and Brittany ferries allowed me to rebook for another holiday in 2021 without question.

Refund - including the cost of the programme I'd ordered - has now been received. Well done to the organisers, see you in 2021
