Honestly, did know there was much of a difference. Isn’t the difference you just have the option to own the car with pcp?
A quick glance at leasing deal on the same car look around 8 grand cheaper overall than the PCP you showed.
Any pointers old chap?

Normally anything funded by VWFS will be offered to be purchased, I've not seen anything else being offered, but I am sure it happens.
Leasys also allows to buy car during and at the end of the lease.

Something like this https://www.leaseloco.com/car-leasing/hyundai/ioni... you’d need to speak to the broker to get a price for the exact spec you want.

I just Googled and this was the first hit - need to adjust terems and add options etc (check it's the right model): https://www.gogreenleasing.co.uk/car-leasing/hyund...

No idea how good that deal is compared to other leasing companies.

Not everyone’s ‘cup of tea’ but we needed a 2nd car for occasional use. LeasingOptions £161 fully maintained Fabia Estate with DSG …. Monte Carlo trim. Petrol and 1 litre. It is absolutely ideal for our requirements. 5k, 5 + 35. Very impressed by it. Our first Skoda. Ordered 4 weeks ago and arrived last week.

Hi

Looking for quotes for a Mark 8 VW Golf R-Line TSI 150PS (see example image)

In moonstone grey
18inch Bergamo alloys
Side and travel assist
Rear camera

Term 36 months
Annual mileage 10K
Initial deposit 12 months

Best quote so far is:
Deposit of £2965
Monthly cost £247.14

Was thinking of adding the HK system which would come to a monthly cost of £257.51, but am not sure if it is worth the extra, if the stock system is fine

The broker is expresscarleasing.co.uk. I think the funder is Ald Automotive.

What do you guys think?

If you use their website and get a quote for 10k pa over 2 years then its just under £13k including vat.
If you go for the same deposit and period etc as your quote it’s £282 pm plus vat.
Seems expensive to me.

Hi

Are you saying what they quoted me at £247 Inc VAT is expensive?

I am new to this "game" so I apologise for silly question or if I don't understand

Thanks

If you include the big deposit then your monthly is effectively £330 I think.
Strange that your quote is so much cheaper than their website.

That’s amazing. The lead times are 30 weeks and so I’d have thought they’d keep prices high.

Reckon I should lock in the deal? I read somewhere that I need to get in writing a confirmation that the price won't increase come 2022 delivery..I can wait the 30 odd weeks.

So if I accept, they can change the price? Is that true ?

They can’t increase your price once the contract is signed. No one else has commented to maybe it’s not a gr8 deal.
