Alfa Guilia QF 40k

Lotus Exige V6 35k

997.1 c2s 25k

Have to admit I’ve never actually driven the Alfa, so that one is the wildcard. But In theory at least that lot would see me happy until the pumps run dry.

I probably have £100k in cara and bikes, spread across 3 countries:

In UK:

Jag F Pace as family car
Skoda Yeti for my elderly mother as she can’t get in the Jag
205 Gti as I love it
Focus Mk1 RS, what a great car
Boxster 986 for track days
Jag XK8 acquired in another deal but need to sell that. Love the V8 though.

In thailand:

Ford ranger wildtrak as it’s thailand, so why not!
Honda HRV for my wife
BMW F850
Various scooters for local shopping etc

In Indonesia

Honda HRV for my wife (she loves them!)
Various scooters

I reckon that’s probably £140k - of course I would prefer one Ferrari or Lambo but that just wouldn’t be practical

Have sold my E46 M3 and 325ci as just running out of room.

I don't think I have very expensive tastes, and am not really sure how much stuff costs, so mostly things I've considered buying anyway, and probably wouldn't actually want all of them at the same time.

Reliant Scimitar GTE
MK1 Audi TT coupe for winter
Maybe upgrade the 330Ci to an E46 M3 just because
Also have an odd hankering for an ML/ GLE even though I don't like SUVs
F-Type convertible for the prettiness
Keep the E63
None of them need to be new, obviously.

Spend whatever's left on somewhere to store and work on them.

Assuming I had the space to keep them (which I do not), my ideal mix in my countryside idyll would be:

Porsche 981 GT4 (65k)
Merc W222 S Class (25k)
Fiesta ST (10k)

Should provide a nice choice for sporty bursts, long distance wafting and buzzing to the shops.

Couldn’t see myself wanting for anything else (except a ceramic pig stuffed with notes to maintain them).

Every time one of these threads comes up I realise my tastes aren't as expensive as I imagined they'd be. Or, that £100k isn't really enough to buy a proper dream car (488, F8, etc), and everything below £100k I could probably afford to buy anyway.

I'd probably get a mint Guilia QF for about £50k and the rest on a 718 Cayman S for the weekends.

In reality, though, I've only space for one car and I'm a favourites kind of guy, so it'd either be the Guilia QF and pocket the rest, or blow the lot on a 992 C2S (don't need back seats).

I’ve bought

V90 2018 Familywagon / Daily - £18k
2016 5.0 GT Mustang in Comp Orange - £26k
2018 Mercedes SL400 - £25k

31k left to buy v8v / Alfa 4C / Elise - will see.

Really wanted a v12v - but brake disks or an annual service is £200 on a mustang, Aston servicing x4, brake disks x40.

I can't get a 997 GT3 RS in budget, no where near, so the non RS model then probably something like an SQ5 with whatever change I have left for my daily.

I started down that line with the McLaren, but it popped two gearbox seals and we ended up on holiday with no car.

As we've space i'd rather split things up a bit more and have a few cars for budget.

It's a fair point. I have no need for anything bigger so decided to lump most of my fictitious budget into the Mc.

If it gave me too much trouble I'd get rid and buy a Mercedes AMG GT instead.

This sounds remarkably like the old £100k garage feature,

I answered it then & my answer still remains

A blue Ferrari (£67k)... just because

A brand new car (Pre reg for extra cheapskateness £11.7k) ... Reliable daily driving duties

And a Duuuuuucccaaaaaaaaaaaaaattttttttttttttiiiiiiiiiiiiiii, .... Gone for the 'S' model for £19.8k but the non 'S' is available at £17.5k for the testicularly challenged

Being a powerfully built keen negotiator in the obvious PH mould I'd have easily negotiated £500 off the above so the remaining £2k would go on pedal power

swap the V8V for a manual V12V
Keep the Chimaera
Maybe swap the 850T5 wagon for an 850R manual and a few bob to make it mint...

Maybe 35k left after the above, so er, um, I, er, really don't know scratchchin I'll have to peruse the classifieds....
