With paint and interior spec’d comes to about 680/month with 6k down over 2 years, 7K miles.
A lot of money, but half of what you’d pay if you went direct to the dealer.

That looks fantastic and it certainly gave me a smile seeing this in amongst the utter EV dross that's constantly posted in here these days.

I see your point and have some sympathy (although I'm an EV convert). I suspect the major manufacturers are not having a problem shifting ICE or hybrids atm and don't need to discount them (perhaps 4qtr will prove me wrong).

The glut of EV discounts is only likely to rise considering the new VED rates

1st lease I've ever had as a result of this thread a year ago.

Unfortunately got a decent ding down the side of the door that mysteriously happened when the other half was out, but not her apparently.

Any idea how badly I'd get screwed for this if I don't get it sorted beforehand? Probably about 6 inches.

The damage charges will be laid out in your contract so I’d refer to that.

Common wisdom is to leave it and let them bill you as it’s invariably cheaper than sorting it yourself and you don’t have the hassle or risk that the repair isn’t up to scratch and you get charged anyway!

My interest has also been piqued on the Nissan ariya for the mrs.

I’m looking at
8k miles per annum
1+35 @ £350pm
£12,899 over the term (Inc broker fee)

https://leasing.com/independent-brokers/leasing-op...

But also interested in the ID buzz
8k miles per annum
1+35 @ £399pm
£14,360 over the term

https://www.leaseloco.com/car-leasing/volkswagen/i...

Around £1465 difference between the two. Not sure the mrs would be happy in the buzz but the kids would love it
One thing I would recommend if you do go for just the FWD one is to change the standard Dunlop tyres asap, they are absolutely abysmal at actually putting down any form of torque to the roads in this lovely Scottish wet winter, it got that bad at one point the wife refused to drive “ the sodding thing “ ( the wife’s 87kw one only 6k on the clock) so I have put on a new set of Michelin cross climates and the difference is night and day.

Oh if you have any form of back problems steer well clear as the standard seats give me chronic back pain that I don’t get in the polestar I was driving.

Can confirm, last car I returned had been keyed down one door and rear quarter.
Quoted £36 for the repair but then was never charged anyway

The GTI is also over 30%. So not a great deal. Maybe you paid less.
It’s not a comparison to previous deals just poor value full stop.

think 2yr and 10k was not much better about 28% on previous pricing.

outwith electric car deals there has not been much value, suppose to.get the gti dec now march so with a bit a luck hopefully something else comes along between now and then.

Driven, I got a little tracker link to watch it. Slightly disappointed that it started the day with 10 miles and ended with 211!

The driver put more fuel in and washed it before hand over. Il try and grab a rubbish quick pic tonight.
