Just ordered a Golf GTI 300 Clubsport on personal lease for one month initial, 36 month, £328 a month. That's with Arval. Way cheaper than anything I've seen for a while, thought it was worth sharing. Was pre ordered so no options like DCC unfortunately but I can live with that. But had colour choice so they must have a few.
Has anybody been able to contact arval and see if this is legit or not? I was unable to speak to somebody about it on the number provided. Seems too good to be true to me.

I'm currently with Arval, lease ending soon, so I've asked for a quote on one via their website. I'm not expecting it to be a real deal, seems too good to be true. I've seen premiums being charged for available vehicles, rather than big discounts to shift them.

Hi all,

I’ve given up on a Tiguan because of the crazy long wait times and the market being through the roof, seems to affect the Tiguan more than some of the other cars I was considering.

Got my eyes on a KIA Sportage 4, question is about the lease term, I was previously going to go for 3 years to line up with the Manufacturer warranty, given that KIA is 7 years would I be ok to go for 4 years?

Anyone with a Hybrid Sportage on lease? Would you recommend?

I thought the same, it's really cheap especially these days, but mine ordered now so hopefully others can get it. Might be worth an email to the girl I spoke to:

Just out of interest did they tell you what the cost of the excess miles would be?

I wouldn't have a problem with it being under warranty per se, as long as the price is right. Been looking at similar models and the Sportage seems a bit on the steep side just now - hoping some deals might crop up in the next few weeks.

Bear in mind that the Sportage is changing to the new model (which looks great!) so confirm with any brokers whether its the old model or the new one - ie likely to be stock or factory order.

I had a Hyundai Tucson on a 4 year lease for that very reason, has a 5 year warranty. Cars with 3 year warranties I only ever do for 3 years lease max.

Only thing to consider on a 4 year is dependant on your mileage I guess, I did quite a bit so needed an extra set of front tyres and discs and pads in year 4.

Apart from that, the car didn’t miss a beat and was brilliant.

Thanks, yeah I want the new model because I love the way it looks. Particularly the digital cockpit blending in with the infotainment system.

At what price would you bite the bullet? I can’t seem to decide but we have twins on the way and need a bigger car for the double pram etc so a bit pressed for time.

Response from Robyn;

Yes, that’s correct we do have a special offer on the GTI Clubsport at the moment, they are available to order now and will be ready in June for delivery unless there are any delays.

See the quote attached as requested, I have quoted the vehicle on 1+35, 8000 miles per year on a customer maintained basis. I can amend the quote to include the maintenance package if required.

The choice of colours are detailed below:

Metallic - Dolphin grey
Metallic - Deep black pearl
Metallic - Reflex silver

We do also have a selection of the vehicles with solid paint and some with metallic paint and 19”Alloy wheels as an extra.

1+35 for 8k is £343.60
Excess mileage 9.42p

Metallic is £14.73 on the quote, so I’m presuming it would be £329ish with solid paint.

That’s a super deal in the current market.

Agree, wife doesn’t seem convinced!

Ideally I would buy a car
Like this as I think the residuals would be stronger than the rentals but it’s a fair chunk of money.

I think convincing the other half will be the main trouble for most with this one. It’s quite shouty with the side decals and the little spoiler and so on. Nonetheless, looks a decent enough deal in todays climate if you’re after that sort of thing.

Thanks for sharing this. I'm currently an Arval customer and my lease expires this summer, so currently looking for a replacement.

This fits perfectly. I'll reach out to my Arval contact.

Thanks

No problem, thought it was too good not to share, was looking for something similar to my current Leon Cupra but thought I'd need to be paying £430+ a month.
The wife problem, I've postponed that until it arrives as she doesn't realise what it is...

Might be half tempted to ditch the BMW 128ti order for this. But....how realistic will that delivery time be is the big question!
