It's at £713.60 on 1+23 10k per annum here https://www.motorselect.uk/car-leasing/bmw/7-serie...

I took the XM deal at the start of last year, and I thought that was a bargain, but these 7series deals are nuts. The new XM deal is pretty decent too.
How much was the XM deal when you took it out. Considering this one. How’s your experience been with the car?

I've FTK on a Volvo XC60 Ultra via company Salary Sacrifice; despite the initial rental being over inflated, with everything included and no deposit required it still works out substantially cheaper than anything equivalent I could find. However, I've been let down on a previous car delivery date, so I've now got ~12 weeks to wait before delivery.

If anyone has any experience / recommendations on short term leases, or A N Other better way to hire / lease a car short term, I'd appreciate the advice.

Thanks very much. thumbup

Probably the most cost effective is to buy an old shed for say a grand (unless you really need it for critical long journeys etc) and then sell it (Motorway, WBAC etc) when the new car gets delivered.
You can have a bit of fun choosing something for a grand knowing you'll only have it for a few months.

Yeah, I should have clarified as that's part of the problem. I need to use it for a) business travel (regularly 380 mile round trips and my back is FUBAR) and, b) I need to put my 2-children in it and "The Boss" has strict guidelines on that. biglaugh

Taking delivery of (a pre registered, 2024) ID Buzz tomorrow, first foray into both leasing and EV.

Other than sorting insurance out, anything else I need to consider / any words of wisdom? Guessing I'll need to take out gap insurance but again have never done this before.
As it's a lease I think there is no gap insurance between value of the car and what you owe on the car. I do think there is a insurance to cover payments you would have made it you still had the car. I'm in the same position, so would be interested in the replies.

You can buy lease Gap to cover initial payment, if you put larger upfront amount.

Yes. I have a signed credit agreement with Central Vehicle Leasing that clearly states the terms of the lease.

They have taken an admin fee payment and credit checked me.

I was told by Central VWFS accepted my order (in September) so I have a contract with them.

It shouldn’t take VWFS 4 months to contact a customer about a ‘system error’ - and what exactly was the error? The person that called me from VWFS didn’t give a sh*t and had no clue about anything to do with the lease, the delay reason, or what the error was.
Spoke eith Central earlier, they seem to think that VW will fight it on the basis the contracts aren't live till they assign a chassis number to your order. So it seems like VW have had 4 months procasinating over this.

I went to go for this deal and the company are saying I have to choose an optional two-tone colour option which is an additional £25 a month. how are they allowed to advertise a deal that you cant take unless you pic an option?

See a page or two back, seems to be their M.O.

Advertise a cheaper car they can’t/won’t supply and hope you’ll accept the more expensive one.

Shady, but not unique in the sector.

In order to secure a solid deal on a new lease soon, I might need to run 2 leases at the same time for a month or two.

Anyone done this? Any credit file implications potentially? Can't see why there would be but thought I'd ask the brains here!

£10 cheaper than the deals a few pages back - I almost ordered one but rear wheel steer doesn't come as standard on these which is a deal killer for me as the car is 5.4 metres long. Select car leasing told me it was standard luckily I spoke to bmw salesman who clarified it was extra.
