It’s proportionate to other cars in the BMW range.

Been looking/lurking for 6 months to find replacement lease and just ordered an ID3 58kw on what I think is a pretty good deal compared to a lot else out there at present (at least at sensible money!).

£289 (incl metallic) - this deal is about £20 a month cheaper than anyone else at the moment on a 3+23 with 10k (Leaseloco says it’s the lowest price in the last 12 months). Through Vanarama/Autotrader - probably the easiest of all the leases I’ve sorted - quick, easy and very good customer service (so far!).

Looks good. Might get that for the Mrs.

Great deals I found on two Renault E-Techs, Symbioz and Scenic at 21st Century Motors. I'm looking to order one of them. They beat any other broker I've found through comparison sites. Anyone dealt with 21st Century Motors? A banner at the top states 'All pricing is subject to validation upon credit application' which is weird, does this imply that the price could be different?

I can't post links but they're both on 1+23 profiles, 5000 mpa, Symbioz Techno at £257.50pm ,Scenic Long Range Techno at £291.18pm

Don’t particularly disagree, but these are the times we live in.

I agreed terms on one of these yesterday as my next lease, It'll be my third consecutive Kodiaq. Was tempted by enyaq but we do long trips on busy days over to France a few times per year and there have been several times when the EV charging situation at services following traffic has been disastrous, especially if you have a channel crossing to make. Maybe next time. Anyhow I reckon I might get 340 days per year on electric only and it's cheaper than the enyaq by some margin.

I'd recommend contacting your local dealers as they don't have a broker fee. Mine beat that price even with options added of metallic and a tow bar, after a bit of negotiation, though I was given a loyalty discount as my current one is through them.

I dealt with Rachel at Simpsons Skoda in Preston, she's been very good.
I’ve been offered a Kodiaq Sportline PHEV for £330+VAT with £1730 upfront+VAT - 10k miles over 3 years - this is through a main dealer. How does that compare to what you got please as I’m tempted to pull the trigger but wondering if we can get a better price?
Running the figures, your deal in total works out at £443/month (inc VAT) for the 3 years. The deal Simpsons offered me works out at £391/month for 2 years. Looking at the spec, is the Sportline worth an extra £50/month? Although yours is based on 10k per year as well rather than 5..... the Central deal worked out at £467/month at 3+35/10k.....
Interesting. Had you signed via Central?
I did a deal with Simpsons in Preston, their deal was better than Central. I’ve gone for the SE-L…. Similar to George it’s a cash back thing on the deposit.

Yeah the G11 in 2016 was circa 70k for the 730d M Sport. That being said, this pricing is pretty good given the jump in pricing and higher spec. It was £400 ex vat on 9+23 10k terms at that time. Prices on leasing throughout the years seem to stay pretty stable thankfully, regardless of these stupid RRP’s

Best price yet, thanks for the share.

It’s also a factory order which times well with when I’m wanting a new car.

If I order this now and then bail into another car whilst this is still on order, will the only penalty be the broker admin fee ? Or could the supplying dealer fine me ?

Thanks

I have an i5, supposedly a £112,000 car OTR. 11 months in, with 12,000 miles on the clock, WBAC is offering £50,000 for it. Thank goodness I leased it. Just a heads-up for anyone considering one.

As for the car itself—it’s huge. And I don’t mean “luxury sedan big,” I mean ridiculously oversized. I’ve owned S-Classes and Audi A8s before, but this makes them feel compact. Thinking the 7 Series couldnt possibly be much bigger, I popped into a local dealer—and there it was, taking up what felt like a third of the showroom. Forget parking at Waitrose unless you’re fine straddling two spaces and making a scene.

Monkey got it right when he reviewed the new M5: “It’s just too big.” And yet somehow, the 7 Series makes the i5 look modest.

Just my two cents—proceed with caution!

I think I need to go see the new 5 & 7 in person. Was seriously considering the 750e.

Size normally doesn’t phase me, but you’ve got thinking now as to where the thing could physically live!

Maybe use Carsized to have an idea..
https://www.carsized.com/en/cars/compare/audi-a8-2...

Compared to the A8, it is much bigger.

540cm is going to make it near impossible to park in supermarket parking.

Signed up for one the EV leases from the summer. Getting ready to collect the car and it has transpired that the car has the wrong spec from what was ordered!!

Anyone been in this position as I am minded to reject the car and move on to wait for something else. Was looking forward to receiving this one but I know the incorrect spec will haunt me.

Breach of contract. You are within your right to reject OR discuss a lower price.

I went and saw it in the nearest showroom and it is an impractical car. Almost 1/5th of the show room space was taken up by this. It will be a nightmare to park and drive in tight spaces of parking lots etc. wonder how many have BMW actually managed to sell or lease. It is luxurious, but very impractical. So decided to let it pass!!

If anyone is considering ordering without seeing it with your own eyes, please don’t as I was really tempted to just order it given the price!! But please see it before ordering!!

The problem of global models. USA used to have it's own sized cars and Europe has smaller ones. Now, RR and RRS plus Tesla Y are made global so they all get bigger to satisfy the US market and we suffer on our roads and car parks. BMW have just super sized everything to compete. Our Model Y is a bit too wide to feel 100% comfortable in car parks.

My next door neighbour - who, given the cars that appear on their driveway, I suspect to be at least a lurker on here - has just had one of these appear. It is long
