This looks a good deal on the new Swift from G2L:

I had my standard orange paint car delivered on Wednesday last week. 6x23 profile 5kpa (enough for me). Initial payment of £815 followed by 23 monthly payments of £135. Less than £4k for the 2 year lease. Factor in the broker fee it's another £11 a month, so real terms £176 average monthly. Now costs average £236 (based on £270 fee) for the same profile and though it might still be a reasonable deal it would really annoy me knowing I could have got one for £60 a month less last year. If only DeLoreans were on lease smile

Pretty amazing deal on the new Capri

£247 on a 12+23, 5k seems to be the default. £391 on 1+23, 8k on more reasonable terms.

Like it in the yellow biggrin

Worth noting they also have the Ford Explorer (pretty much same car but with bigger boot that the Capri) on very similar deal too

Interestingly the Capri I think has the bigger boot, being the longer car??

It's the other way round, the Explorer has slightly smaller boot, but squarer, if you see what I mean, than the Capri.

interesting, I never looked at the stats but the explorer shall we say looked to have a more "usable space" when i looked at the both.

We had a Pug 5008 on lease in 2017 when it first got it's fancy update and it was a superb 7 seat family bus.

This seems like a really decent deal to me for top spec GT trim:

Peugeot 5008
1.2 Hybrid 136 GT 5dr e-DSC6
Petrol, Automatic, Front Wheel Drive

2 years

Annual mileage
5,000 miles per year

Monthly price
£255.23 Incl. VAT

Initial payment (First month's payment)
£2,297.07 Incl. VAT

Great price for a 7 seater. If you only need 5 seats, the near enough identical Vauxhall Grandland Premium is £25 a month less

Just FYI, it no longer has 3 identical seats in the back, plus the boot floor is nearing 20cm higher than the outgoing model - tried it with my daughters wheelchair (20kg), and it made life a lot more difficult.

Hi everyone,

I am thinking of switching to a fully electric Renault Scenic E-Tech Estate. I can get the Techno version in black with 5000 miles for £553 gross a month. This works out at £381 net (factoring in BiK) including tyres, maintenance, MOTs, insurance, road tax etc.

I'm veering into the £120k-£125k income bracket (likely around £115k for the next financial year) so I'm losing some of my personal allowance. Does this mean that the car will actually cost me a bit less? And if so, how do I calculate roughly how much?

Anyone been able to get close the i7 or i5 deal?

I’ve contacted a few of the dealers through Autotrader including Wollaston and one has come back quoting over 6k initial and 530pm for the i5 M60.
I’ve been contacted by BMW Leeds as they have tried to convince me to secure a i7 lease with them even though I’ve secured a one. If anyone is interested speak with Ryan and he mentioned they had a couple in group stock and would agree to the rentals I secured be it £1 cheaper at £2000 deposit, 6k miles, 23 months £538.

this is always my issue as I have a big dog. its likely that the Explorer is more practical despite being substantially smaller

Have you considered upgrading to the the mid trim level? (Esprit Alpine). Black metallic paint comes as standard in that trim, so you may end up paying the same (or even less?) for better trim level?

I’m still looking for a decent deal on an EV. I’ll take MG off the list..
The ford Capri deal at the top of the page looks pretty good to me!

I'm thinking I may have a look at them... SUV crossover stuff isn't my liking, but cheap helps right! Does anyone know if they're any good?
Ah how did I miss that when scanning the last few pages!

Seems decent thank you!

I know I will get shot down for this being a rubbish lease deal and it won’t fit any of the “good deal” metrics but I’m happy with the following deal

Audi RS3 Carbon -Kemora grey with Red calipers

£637.51 a month (maintained without tyres)
Initial payment - £3,825.07
No fees

Where did you get this deal?

Yes, it will definitely cost you less (assuming the £115k takes account of pension contributions) Roughly a further 20% saving on the gross cost as you will get part of your personal allowance back (so will receive some more of your income free of tax) . And do yourself a favour and make pension contributions to get yourself underneath the £100k income (net of pension contributions and salary sacrifice).

Do you have Ryans contact info mate? Also was it an M Sport car? Cheers!
