I reached out to a few dealerships in regards to the I5 deal.

The best I could get for 10k on a 36 month deal for a i5 edrive 40 m sport is 2k down and £629 a month. Probably just a bit too steep for me.

Is anyone getting anything better for an I5?

not really, in fact it's a poor deal. Looking at the standard 36/10k shows roughly 33% of P11D.

Admittedly that is still likely to be a net loss to whomever is financing the deal.
20% by my maths for the explorer on a 24 month 10k.

Why did I look at 36 months, clearly a brain fart moment, thanks for the correction

If you change the parameters to 24 months you will find the quotes will come in much cheaper. Have a play with the BMW new car stock list, search under i5 and run the quotes on PCH. I saw Bedford had a M60 i5 saloon for £649 deposit and £649 over 23 months 6k miles. Car is on autotrader under new vehicles.

Around that price you can get PCP for MB EQE Sport, on a kind of 1+35 arranged, which would include servicing, the 'special' exterior/interior protection, non standard paint and something else. PCH was working out more expensive funny enough. They have 0% deals on them currently.
The excess mileage was stupid though at something like 34p/mile.

Chandlers Hailsham were looking v strong on the M60 deals - you may like to try them?

Absolutely fuming that Leasing Options took my fee, did all the admin and had 'secured' one of the Polestar 4s that were on offer, only to find out today - because I'd heard a rumour about Lex - that it was a complete fib. Loads of time, personal details shared and a credit check for nowt.

Back to the drawing board..

What rumour have you heard?

Not sure if it'll help but I ordered one through https://www.fleetsauce.co.uk/ and dealt with - Jack Cripps jack.cripps@fleetsauce.co.uk this week. All processed and they have to be registered/delivered by EOM. However, this was through Lex so intrigued as to your comment.

Basically Lex have pulled personal customer stock and reallocated to fleet. If you check the Polestar 4 UK facebook page there are a bunch of people who've had orders due for delivery TODAY getting calls saying "sorry, now cancelled". Absolutely shocking

No really LO's fault though. Funders can be complete and utter tts (plenty experience of it myself). Do what they like when they like and screw the brokers/customers. Brokers can deal with the angry customers, we don't care attitude.

Anyone been able to get close the i7 or i5 deal?

I’ve contacted a few of the dealers through Autotrader including Wollaston and one has come back quoting over 6k initial and 530pm for the i5 M60.
I’ve been contacted by BMW Leeds as they have tried to convince me to secure a i7 lease with them even though I’ve secured a one. If anyone is interested speak with Ryan and he mentioned they had a couple in group stock and would agree to the rentals I secured be it £1 cheaper at £2000 deposit, 6k miles, 23 months £538.
Do you have Ryans contact info mate? Also was it an M Sport car? Cheers!
Car is a i7 50 excellence with a fair amount of options. You can find several under the new bmw stock list https://www.bmw.co.uk/en/index.html?clc=1a1mm01dY1...

His name is Ryan in sales and number is 0113 224 4229.
Many thanks for the heads up on this, I managed to bag myself an i7 at a price too good to refuse!

Congrats. Collect mine next week and managed to squeeze the rentals down further after another dealer undercut my deal. Not everyone’s cup of tea but it comes with a huge amount of kit / tech. Not looking forward to parking the barge though! Enjoy when you get it.

Didn’t order via Leeds BMW but Ryan was quoting £538 pm, 2k deposit, 6k miles 24 months for a i5 excellence with a fair amount of options. If you haggle hard you might get him down to £510 pm which I managed to achieve in the end after another dealer undercut my original deal.

That’s interesting to know. As you say, I agreed the deal at £538 per month, £2k upfront, 6k miles per annum for 24 months for an i7 eDrive 50 Excellence with £20k worth of extras. It’s a bit beyond my needs but that price for a £120k car is just too good to turn down. Leeds still have a few i7 XDrive 60’s in stock so worth giving them a call if anyone is interested. Cheers
