Thanks re: extension. Managed to get an extra 90 days based on same monthlies.

Kia Xceed 2 on a 1+23 (now 1+29!!) with 8k miles pa for £160/month. How times have changed. Really glad ALD are allowing these extra months based on prices that were secured 3 years ago! Fair play to them. They could quite easily say no, we want the car back especially with 2nd hand car prices.

Ditto.

New Xceed prices are not good value, Kia Sportage and Hyundai Kona look better value, today at least.
Occasionally the Hyundai IONIQ can be OK value.

Ok thanks, my neighbour sold his RS4 to WEbac when he was just over halfway, made a tidy amount over the surrender figure and spent plenty of time crowing about it in the pub!
Again, that's PCP not PCH and the "halfway" thing there is a complete red herring

I was supposed to return my car last month after 90 day extension. Fingers crossed my replacement car arrives in September but in the meantime ALD have extended daily rate lease for 6 months and my replacement is not with ALD. I think it's pot luck who you speak to and the outcome at ALD.

Has anyone managed to extend their lease with ALD beyond the 90 day informal extension? If so, what options were given to you? Going to phone them later this afternoon but thought having a general idea of potential options beforehand may be useful. TIA
My car was due back last December but extended it to March as my new lease was due but this has now been put back to July. I emailed yesterday and they have agreed to extend it again till August. I pay a daily fee which works out similar to my original deal. Save when there is less days in the month.

Decent MG ZS EV deal

https://zen.auto/configure?id=2104604&calculat...

£500 plus £232 x 35 not the long range version, but will suit most people.

12-14 week delivery, shame as we don't need it until later in the year, says it will be a 22 plate.

Think it was a typo as it's now £328.

What a terrible situation it is at the moment if you need a car !

And I know it’s nothing compared to what people are going through in the Ukraine so I count myself lucky and realise this is just a minor inconvenience.

I have Signed up for two lease deals this year, a Cupra Leon which got delayed from May until who knows when and then a Kia Sportage that again got delayed from May to November !

So I decided to give up on Leasing and looked for a second hand car. My word what a s**t show that is ! Even with looking at putting £3-4000 down PCP quotes were coming back at over £300 pm on pretty average MX-5’s and Mini Coopers etc. The cars I viewed were poorly prepared with the absolute minimum done to them but at maximum price.

Fortunately a dealer I had been in talking too contacted me to say that they had a Pug 308 1.2 130 EAT Allure Premium arrive in the country that I can 100% have in June. Far far far from a good deal but not totally awful in the current climate - £250 pm 8k miles and 6 months down.

They honoured an earlier deal but the deals haven’t gone up much, about £262 now if anyone is interested.

Will be a big step down in performance from the A250 I am currently leasing at £235 pm but hey we all know those days are gone !

Had a first look at a new 308 and they are pretty things with an interior quality that puts the mk8 Golf to shame!

Robins and Day Manchester through what car - the higher specs are £100 plus more and the AP includes most things though.

Yes I can help. That's a terrible deal.

https://www.selectcarleasing.co.uk/car-leasing/hyu...

The link I posted above is almost £100 a month cheaper. I don't think that's a good deal either. Even in this climate there are better ways to spend £18k than on renting a Hyundai SUV for 3 years.

Edit - just seen that your quote includes maintenance.

https://www.selectcarleasing.co.uk/car-leasing/hyu...

Even with maintenance the link I posted above is cheaper albeit by £23 a month.

Thank you for your help, i checked the link - yes its cheaper than the one quoted for me though the delivery of the vehicle is in December and the one quoted to me is in 3 weeks.

I have gone through multiple websites and called dealership around me - there are limited availability with inflated prices.
any deal if you can share with a 4 weeks delivery would be helpful...

Sounds like you have done your research, if you want a car in that time frame and you are happy to pay that then fill your boots I guess!

Was this the Arnold Clark lease deal as I have the A180. Wanted to know if they allow you to extend your lease with Mercedes?

Yes it was and no they wouldn’t unless you take another lease out with them.

They only show a 3+35 at £471.25, but it's the equivalent of £497 on a 1+35. It's from a main dealer, so they might be able to access stock vehicles.

Hi can anyone help, looking for a second car on a 8k lease for 24/36 months with low deposit. Seen a golf for £318 per month but would prefer to be around £250 a month, not fussed on being brand new or ex demo if that’s better option to meet my needs, thanks

My mk7.5 GTD is due back in 4 months so I thought I’d ask for a purchase price - £22.8k!! (its done 38k miles, 36 mth PCH) laugh

£300 p/m (15k p/a) to extend for 6 months which doesn’t seem bad given the current market but most likely it’s back to the used market for me!
