Hi can anyone help, looking for a second car on a 8k lease for 24/36 months with low deposit. Seen a golf for £318 per month but would prefer to be around £250 a month, not fussed on being brand new or ex demo if that’s better option to meet my needs, thanks

Yes it was and no they wouldn’t unless you take another lease out with them.
Ah thanks a lot. Mine goes back in Aug but I’m planning to give it back a month early to save on the 3rd service. I bet Mercedes will say to change brake pads and tyres and I’m in no mood to spend £1000 on a service before I give the car back!

Silly times indeed, no good deals vs pre pandemic.

Need help to asses the quote for a Audi Q5 2021 with 8000 miles (was a loaner car)

Its PCP lease offer

Model - Q5 ESTATE 45 TFSI Quattro S Line 5dr S Tronic

Period of Lease 49 Months
Cash Price - 43024
Initial Down - 5000
Balance/Amount of Credit - 38024
Additional Charges - 8105
Total Balance car value - 46129
Monthly lease - 525.11

Final rental after lease - 20,923
APR 6.9%

While Audi offer to get off the lease without any penalties after 50% of payment is done so in this quote, i can return vehicle anytime without any charges after i pay around 13000 GBP.

I only intend to use for two years out of the 4 year lease is the offer worth it? is there any catch that i am missing? have anyone else any experience with Audi with this kind of offer or lease agreement?

This is a lease thread not pcp’s. You’ll need to post elsewhere I’m afraid.

It’s not a lease it’s a PCP. Two totally different things.

I’ll answer your question even if others won’t. In essence what you are saying is you plan to treat it as a 24 month deal. If this is the case it doesn’t seem like a good deal!

£5000 (deposit) divided by 24 is £208.33pm

£208.33 + £525.11 = £733.44pm

£17,602.64 over 24 months which is 41% of the cars value.

Because it’s a PCP you will have to pay road tax which will be over £500 because the car costs over 40k.

Indeed. And this bit “ While Audi offer to get off the lease without any penalties after 50% of payment is done so in this quote, i can return vehicle anytime without any charges after i pay around 13000 GBP.” is completely wrong. 50% payment will be much more as it includes the ballon payment. Definitely ask in the car buying part of the forum as it seems you’re very confused about the product.

The only form of lease with a final value is called “lease purchase with ballon” - but in that you cannot hand the car back and commit to buying it at the end of the lease period, so again it’s very different to PCH (Personal contract hire) which is the type of deals in this thread.

For what it's worth you can PCH the car on the same terms as the PCP with a £2000 lower initial payment and £25 a month less, but of course without the option to terminate at the 50% stage.

Unfortunately I’ve had to put 2 new front tyres on - I’m sending my car back after the last payment to avoid 3rd service and MOT - I dread to think how much that will cost !

Nationwide Seat Ibiza, ordered in Oct 21. Finally have a confirmed build date of mid April so getting there!
Had a mail from them yesterday with a reg number for mine! Hopefully delivery next week

Mine was a 1.0 TSI Xcellence Lux DSG7 in Desire Red.

Fingers crossed you have more luck getting the car ,this bunch of chancers still have my deposit despite canceling in December and repeated emails saying the deposit would be back in my account soon.
interesting you should say that, I've had no issues and they are generally well reviewed on here, lots of good experiences
Had another " deposit will be returned conversation last week"
,still no deposit, taking it up with trading standards now.
Deposit finally returned, hope you car arrived, that is a great deal!

But won’t your service indicator come up automatically in the last month? Then you get into all kinds of technicalities where they charge you for a missed service etc. Hence why my reluctance to keep the car in the last month. That 3rd service would be big and for a lease car which is going back doesn’t make sense.

So I FTK on a Golf R in October 2021 with Affinity.... earlier in the year I was allocated a June '22 build week. That BW dropped out and it's now been given a build week in November 22 (13 months after order)!

Did anyone else order one of these at a similar time, and how is your order coming along?

This. It will be (43024+8105)/2 = 25564.

5k down plus 525 a month will be Month 39.

Car isn’t due back until July 15 and I had it serviced a couple of weeks late so not due a service until end of July …

Has anyone had any experience with AA Smart lease?
After 9 months and running out of patience with a BMW 128ti via Arnold Clark I decided to cut my losses and go for something in stock.

AA had Peugeot e208 GT in stock delivery estimated 2-4 weeks, 2127 upfront 354/m, not the greatest but it was in stock and should arrive before my current lease ended... Started the process 14th March and through various excuses the car was eventually ordered 21st April. Delivery had been kicked back once already til today where I get an email this morning saying its been damaged during PDI...

I'm lost for words how it's taken 10 weeks to get an in stock car to me and now it's damaged!

Ordered the Kodiaq sport line 1.5 in October, just been told getting built middle of September, was promised July when CUPRA Gies back, looks like an informal extension then, already over the allocated mileage. Ah well.
Hi - have Nationwide confirmed that build date with you? I went for the same deal back in October and have had the build date updated on the Nationwide online account to mid September also. However, when I called Nationwide to enquire further they actually said that the build date has not been confirmed. My current lese is up in July and VWFS are now telling me they no longer offer an informal extension for those with vehicles on order with the VAG group, instead I have to go with a formal 6 or 12 month extension.
