Own my car outright, stupid to sell and take a lease on?
Discussion
So you want to sell the 140i to fund house and garden repairs - but admit these aren't urgent? So what's the real motivation behind wanting a new car?
The new car isn't going to have any ground breaking features you don't already have. You don't sound like you really need the extra space of a bigger car either.
Save your £400/month on the side. Stick it in an ISA preferably stocks and shares if you know what you're doing.
