If anyone has any links to nice CL500s with a 55 reg and less than 100k on the clock I'd consider one of those. They're such great cars, fantastic MPG for a 5.0 v8 and probably the best car I've had out of maybe a hundred I've owned over the years.

So how come it's a scam advert?
It isn't.The address ain’t for sure.
Street View could be out of date I spose but it would be a transformation.
Also Companies House has no company of that name in Bedford, although the company of the same name in London could be a shell company.

PM sentIt's a shame this process has been made so difficult as a CL500 is one of the cars on my list and he has one for sale.
As I'm not the seller I guess I can post the link: https://www.gumtree.com/p/cars-vans-motorbikes/mer...

The whole thing is a farce and a reminder why I left this thread for some time.
Did you leave the thread, or did you just take time out to enjoy your menage a trois with the two BMWs...Beg may be the wrong word

Deleting posts like "I've got this car for sale, any thread interest before I put it on eBay" really pisses all over what was one of the best bits about the Barge thread. I've bought two cars from threadists that I'd otherwise never have owned, and I know many more changed hands and usually at "mates rates".
The whole point of selling to thread was to give up some money to save the ballache of advertising and the idiots that come with it, if you've got to list your car anyway to discuss it then you might as well just let it run and get more money.
I'm not really sure how PH benefits from this policy and the high-viz sporting weak lemon squash powered enforcement of it, it's not like any of us are going to use PH Classifieds for our £1500 cars.

Indeed, I bought a w124 from inter thread discussion/link from Garrick in circa 2011. I think that might have been time before PH classifieds.
