Going to service the car while it’s off the rd. which gearbox oil is best? Standard 75/90 or
75-140? Semi or fully synthetic ??

Great stuff , be interesting to see if it makes a big difference to the cold shifting .

Hi Tux, I doubt it, as I never take it out the garage in the cold. 😂😂 in fact itonly comes out from April to Sept. kept in a carcoon heated garage rest of the time. Also as it’s 75w so it shouldn’t make any diff as it’s viscosity rating is the same as recommended apart from the 140 which app is a higher temp rating and supposed to be better for withstanding higher temp.

Nice , I find the shift on my updated box horrible when cold !!
Fitted a water cooler so I can heat up the gearbox oil whilst stationary, helps a lot !!
