4 weeks since collecting the MY RWD.
A couple of things ive not quite worked out yet. Why is there such a big volume difference when switching between Spotify, Radio & Bluetooth.
The radio is ALOT louder that Spotify.
I knew in advance the ride would be firm, but I have noticed alot of rattling in the rear, especially from kids car seats when the kids are not in the car.
We previously had a Q5, and it was noticeably quieter.

The rattling is a bit of a feature in my experience although there are a couple of known issues you can check. The seatbelts in the rear when not used can fall in a way they hit the side trim. The rear seats are also adjustable, one position tends to be better than the other, and putting them flat will show if thats the issue. The split folding bar between the two sides of the rear seats can also rattle when the seats are both up, again putting the seats flat will help prove. Usually bits of felt or repositing can help cure.
The ride is quite jiggly (try resting your head on the headrest in the passenger seat and having a kip, it was near impossible in our old one) and that exposes a few rattles that are annoying.
The volume - new on on me, I'd try a scroll wheel reset (press and hold the two scroll wheels in until the screen reboots). as that often sorts out issues.

My wife got one recently. Tech and app are great, build quality isn’t and it’s not that comfortable but suits her needs and we knew what we were getting.
I wouldn’t buy one for me as I prefer a quieter and more comfortable car as I travel a lot but it’s decent just don’t expect a luxury feel to it.
Front trunk…. We opened it once and on closing, the lid bent so much that I thought it would be damaged. We never using it again, too flimsy bonnet/frunk aluminium not worth the risk.
Again the tech and response of the app is second to none. It’s actually quite amazing with sentry mode, etc.

I've had my RWD MY for about 18 months and the difference in volume between Spotify and the radio does get annoying, but you get pretty quick in rolling the volume down. If there is a fix for this, please share....A couple of things ive not quite worked out yet. Why is there such a big volume difference when switching between Spotify, Radio & Bluetooth.

Ours rattles as well, not helped by the dog guard, divider and other doggo paraphernalia in the cubby holes. Check and adjust rake of the rear seats, that works sometimes.
We have a Tiguan and that doesn't rattle.
Overall, we like ours and being a company car, it gets well used....

Where did you press it to close to bend the lid?!? If you press on the Tesla badge, nothing should be bending.AyBee said:

We pressed by the side of the badge and it wasn’t solid we decided not to use it again, don’t need it anyway.
The car is spacious inside and nice. I think there is a bit of hate because it’s Tesla/Elon but we like it and appreciate that the build quality is what it is but tech is really good.

Tesla frunks have always been like it, when I got my first one in 2015 they even showed you how to close the frunk to not damage it which was both hands on either side of the badge on the Model S. No idea what they suggest today, probably similar, but it is effectively built to save weight rather than be strong.
I just push down where the latch is, never had any problem. It doesn't close under its own weight even if you drop it, so you have to get used to closing it with some finesse (or just don't use it - I rarely do)
You can also get automatic bonnet open and close kits, if that's your bag. I used to have one fitted but the cinch motor rusted out twice, and it was a permanent drain on the 12v battery (2 x 12v battery replacements in 4 years before I removed it).

After what feels like forever, I'm picking up a 72 plate MYLR next week.
Grey, black interior and 20" wheels.
Really good condition and looks great (in my eyes anyway!)
Its an odd-looking car in some places, at some angles. But looks sensational in others. That concave and convex boot? Its rather pretty,. whatever the FUDers sayGrey, black interior and 20" wheels.
